2020 Week #2 Discussion

My defense wasn't able to do anything against Houston this week. The offense was keeping up with Houson's offense in the 1st half but it wasn't enough.

I don't know what's not there from last year, but this team is not playing as well as last season. I'll take 2 more weeks to think about it but maybe I'll trade some more vets at the deadline.

Thanks, yea I was worried in the first half, you were matching me score for score. Luckily my defense stepped up a bit in the 2nd.

Solid offensive game for me, and the first time I've gone 2-0 since 2011.

Vipers came to play today ... especially the offense. Defense was spotty. Good to see such good effort agasinst a team like Vancouver. GG Mark.

Looking ahead, it looks like we are headed into a game of the week situation against the high flyin' Clawz.

Just looking at the schedule ... lots of good games next week (many teams are 1-1 ... so things will sort out a bit more after play is finished).... yours against the Lions is always good, WV vs. the Mules, Newark and Tulsa, Houston and Anchorage, Portland and Iowa City, St Louis and Fresno, Texas and Vancouver, Madison and Lawrence, Lansing and Orlando, LA and Montreal, Vermont and Georgia ... should be a great foot ball day ... all of these games have their unique history.

I win by a touchdown in a game where I felt that I should have scored 14-20 more points than I did. Just feel we left a lot of points on the field in this one. Losing my starting FS in week 1 didn't help too much, which I think was the reason I gave up some big pass plays on defense that kept Reno in the game. But I'll take the win without more complaining.

GG Matt,
Wichita faced a tough trip into Newark and although we lost narrowly, the Outlaws played well against one if the league's best.
We aren't getting any breaks at the moment but I'm confident we're on the verge of putting a run together.
We aren't far off.

We're not better than Tulsa, yet but last week was a bit of an aberration.

Gave the champs everything we had and just came up short. 4 turnovers and 10 penalties killed us. A safety and a 64 yard reception by my FB against a prevent D with 10 seconds to go saved us so lots of good and bad luck.
