I tried to log in on my phone earlier n log in was giving me trouble. So probably why you seen me but I didn't respond. Power is out they are saying possible 7 days maybe even 14 who knows. Every street seems to have trees and lines down. I will send info by my lineup to matt via pm. I might tae my pc up to my cousins if he has power n do an export there. His town has their own power company. Word is they will have power well before us. Been charging my phone on a buddy of mines diesel truck he has been using as a generator. Will keep in touch.

Namely I'm looking for these guys to check in

        jeffrey
        Suicane
        Chris Rex
        DG

these are guys that may be affected. Anyone know of any others that should be on this list?

I may delay the cutdown day until we have a warm fuzzy.

        thanks
I was affected too damn it.

Tropical storm in Quebec City. Pfff, what the hell is that. It could really be the year where DG win something.

DG ... ditto on Jester's remarks. Having lived through the post Katrina days, I can remember having our house on a generator for almost a month while my brother and I began the rebuilding of the interior spaces. It was a pretty strange experience to be living in a house with no privacy as you could see from end to end because there were only studs after we gutted it. Also, driving to hell's Jesus for gas to run the generator was a royal pain in the ass ... but that was then and now is you. I sincerely hope that you get back to normal soon.

yeah no generator here for me. Candle light and flashlights. It was only a cat 1 but because the ground here was already at peak saturation trees gave way pretty easy. Like I said we drove around and almost every road has downed limbs trees or lines. Real mess. I was shocked when the power company said it cud be up to 2 weeks before everyone has power again. Only place in town that has power right now is the casino. And many people went there and booked up the hotel rooms lol. Hope their estimations are a little over done and we have power back soon. Or atleast we are near the top of priority having the casino in town and such. Sucks to think how much food is gonna get thrown out from this. Hitting the store myself tomorow but water was sold out last week thursday night so I don't know what I'll find there. No where we went today had ice for sale. Went to a buddys house they were cooking all the meat they had on the grill so it wudnt spoil. Bright side was no dmg to my home even tho 2 trees had sizeable collapses right across the street into our yard.

It's far from DG's situation. Some trees down, crazy river flow and flooding. One of my tree was roughed up, but nothing too serious. Just a power outbreak for 24h.

what happens when you run out of food and water? Are there companies that are coming there to deliver stuff to buy?

buddy down the street has his power back. Haven't been home yet to check mine but it's a good sign that clp trucks are out in force in our town.

                            You die.

It's funny I'm in CNY and dry as a bone. Starting about 20 miles east of me the Erie Canal is reborn.
