I still don't get this obsession with crap rated guys. Ok, so Portland had 9 guys or so "boom". Ok, so he was a 14/22 an he "boomed" to 23/36. Ummm ok? So a team of 36 rated players is now the goal? This has nothing to do with Jeff or his drafting strategy, I'm just confused how a 36 rated player is considered a successful draft class.

I dunno Jave ask Vito he seems to know about drafting scrubs and playing them off to be superstars with his 20 to 24 potential 'boom'

When players' future ratings change, they are generally not getting better. Their scouted ratings are just getting closer to their actual ratings. When a 14/22 player booms to 23/36, he is getting closer to his actual rating which is probably close to 35/45 or so.

This also works in reverse, by the way. When your rookie drops 3 points in camp, you can bet his actual future rating is 5-10 points lower than what he is scouted now.

This means that DG's QB who dropped 5 points and Vito's who went up 4, will likely end up within 10 points of each other when it's all said and done

And with the Sense rush rating of DG's QB he will more then likely be dead.

Please stop picking with DG; he's close to meltdown...

it's obviously very pissed about Myers 21/48 rating matching Mario Gurley's already

don't be mad the FOFC link you showed me has a formula on there that says Tyler will likely only turn out to be a 32 QB fully developed.

                        "
                        • a good formula for determining where a +3 to +8 player is going to end up is realfuture=originalfuture+initialcampchange*4. If the initial camp change is 9 or better, use 8 in the formula. Somewhere in the +32 to +35 range appears to be the normal max.
So, for example, you have a guy who was 15/35-->17/39 in initial training camp. I would expect him to end up somewhere around 51/51 (35+4*4) once he is fully developed"

Your boy Tyler would be (20+3*4) Meaning on average he is going to turn out to be a 32 Real Future.

I am not a big believer in this stuff but you are the one who linked it to me like I was stupid for never seeing it before because you take what is posted there to heart. Well Take your medicine like a good boy. Your own sources say Tyler is gonna be trash.

My Safety, Dwayne Hernandez, had potential of 34 and wasn't maxed out or anything as a rookie. I got him in the 2nd round. He's now 69/69 through constant "+6's".

That's the creepers we're looking for.

I'm not happy with a team full of 36's but I'm happy with a team of players who start there and end up 20+ higher.

                          *****
Can anyone explain my RB Humphries who boomed in his first camp and all last season but dropped future while maxing out current this camp? Will he start to creep again as was his usual?

What's awesome is that by this very post you have the info that nails your QB to the cross and you're going on about Tyler when everybody but you can see that in my situation, Tyler has time to develop and has the indicators that he will (note tha Gurley was only a +4 post camp and yet he's progressing AND creeping as his initial camp predicted he would).

Myers is your future starter by default -- you've invested a lot in him NOT to play him whereas I have 3 options still at QB and they all point to getting better not worse.

                            This is kinda silly now...

Actually what it shows is that sources you quote said Tyler will pan out to be about a 32 QB. That is what it shows.
