Funny thing, last export I was playing around with changing positions - went and did something else, and then remembered I needed to do a renegotiation, and forgot about the position change, so viola! my starting FB is now a TE! Not a huge ratings drop, but we'll see after TC.

Worst draft ever for me. Crazy hours the last couple of months. I did a good job identifying guys in the first round which I traded out of. Then I felt like I had to rush a bunch of interviews/lists before work/bed. Awful.

Trading for future picks is the only good to come out of this.

That sucks. I know you were planning on this being a great draft for you too as you posted in my Phantoms 2019 Draft thread.

Not as much as you helped me. I'm not bummed maybe a little impatient is all. I'll probably move down or out of the next couple of years due to the sheer volume of picks. That trade will pay dividends 3 or 4 maybe even 5 years from now.

to be honest, I'm kinda glad I traded out. I think there were too many risky players in this draft and made for some interesting selections.
Frankly, not sure if any of my picks will even make the roster

You are just retarded and don't know how to value 1.2. Most Lop sided ever? not even close? Slightly over paid? Maybe.

I seem to remember the New York Giants Trading 1.4 3.4 and a 1st and 5th the following year to move up 3 spots to 1.1. That is real life NFL. If you dont know what the fuck you are talking about please piss off. My Trade for 1.2 wasn't even the most lop sided of this off season I could think of a couple more trades that were more favorable.

I don't know mike it seems like I am spot on with the real NFL GMs and you're just a hater that wants to hate. Sorry I know how to value the picks more realistically than you. Go back to playing madden.

You are right DG, there is lots of precedence for GMs trading away the farm for a high pick. The difference is that they do it to get a superstar player, not a middle of the road QB. The reason this trade is so lopsided is because of who you picked, not just what you paid.

I drafted a higher rated guy in the 3rd. We'll see who ends up being better

Actually I traded my picks so i could get Strickland too. I would have got Myers at 1.3 but I wanted both players. If I couldn't get both players I was trading out. I was already in talks with a few teams one being Newark to move down at 1.3. So in essence the trade only happened so I could take Myers and Strickland. It's okay you keep thinking I got a middle of the road QB. BTW lol I hardly call Eli Manning a superstar. How long was Ricky Williams good in the NFL too? You know before he went to smoke pot and ponder life.
