WOW. it's cool seeing my team up here this late in the year. It's been a looooonnnnnnnggggggg ass time.

I haven't payed much attention to Newark this year but shit....trying to find a weakness to exploit on the Bulldogs is like trying to keep a bigmac from a fat man. Not looking good.

We are at home which gives me some comfort. Oakland is much better than I had thought they were. Key players in key spots. Not going to be an easy task here.

Nothing special about the keys to victory.....the team that scores more points is going to win.

This is as far as I've ever been in an IFL postseason. I've never had the homefield before. the only other time I made it this far is when I had to travel to PEN to decide the game against Gene Hamilton and co.
This was my first MP league and my first MP team. I've wanted nothing more than to win the Imperial Bowl since day 1. Winning this game against OAK in Newark is the next step in achieving my goal.

Really looking forward to thursday. I get nervous thinking about the game.....

That's what you get for sending players over to Tulsa to scout the game!

I think Oakland is up to some shenanigans. Flu in Tulsa, Viral infections in Newark. I think the league needs to investigate.

the more I look at everything and break it all down...
assume the offense's are somewhat equal.
Oakland defense has the pure studs on the DL
Newark has 1 stud and is more solid all around.

It's going to come to what defense decides to step up and slow down the opposing offense. I'm really hoping that's my guys...

                      Oakland press, Oakland, Ca

As is the norm on gamedays, news out of Oakland is...there is no news. Jave has locked down the facility to coaching and staff only. We attempted to speak to players going to, or coming from practice but the Oakland police department is stationed at every corner. Entire intersections are blocked off, traffic has been rerouted anywhere near the Oakland headquarters. Every business within 3 square miles is closed. Air traffic is being denied permits for air travel in the area as well. Jave has leased the entire Marriott and the security there is the same.
The entire city is waiting on pins and needles for tomorrow nights game, but for now, all we can do is wait. Signing off for now folks. See ya tomorrow!
