    GG Portland..

another loss for the Mules in a game we were still in most of the way through..
the interception to set-up a TD towards the end of the 2nsd quarter and then having responded with a FG to allow a quick FG before the half to make it 23-10 was costly.
Then in the 4th we reduce the lead to 23-17 but allow a 78 yard kick-off return which one play later is turned into 7 points and effectively ended the game as a contest.

down 17-0 third quarter at home, but managed to somehow get into OT only to watch the Damn VooDoo get a sustained, penatly assited, drive for the win.

gg Wolfman, Warthogs were lucky to be in this one.

GG. I'm not sure how we ended up with those defensive stats. It felt like you were moving the ball all game.

On a side note, it looks like Caro's days as a starter are done. He's been having a crap season, and Bauer is playing well. Baring a collapse on Bauer's part, Caro will have to compete for the starting spot if he comes back next season.

          Thanks for the ass-whipping Georgia
We bench Galloway and get the win, but the defense had the most to do with it. Somehow, some way, we held you to 159 total yards.

Two of our top three wideouts get injured in the process. Couldn't be a nice, easy win...

A Scott interception and solid D and a couple nice early drives put us in position to get off to a quick start. We didn't. Our first three possessions ended fairly deep in VAN territory. Failed 4 &5, FG and missed FG. After that the Killer Whales slowly pulled away.

Desperately need to upgrade at DB. I am familiar with Winston Scott he shouldn't be playing like that at this stage in his career. 4/8 34 yards and a pick in the 1st quarter. Finished up 23/25 168 yards. Atrocious.
GG DDT. The game went similar to how I thought it would - I was pretty sure even if we won we wouldn't cover the spread. Yeah, Scott was pretty accurate after the early INT - but it was all dink and dunk stuff, we were never able to break a long one on your D. In contrast, Rogers was completing passes downfield - 4 20+ completions.
GL the rest of the way.

Sure Montreal is winless, but it was still a solid come from behind victory to move us to .500.

Seriously though, I was getting a bit worried, defense looked very vulnerable, but my offense came through late as well as picking up a few key turnovers.

GG Suicane. I predict the next few seasons it'll be us battling for the division yet again. Your roster is looking pretty good and one more off-season may turn you into division contenders again.

Good game Steve. I got no trash to talk, you were the better team.
I was excited on my first couple of possesions with how my offense was doing but in the end it was key mistakes again, a blocked FG, I think there might have been a turnover in your territory. Shit that you just can't do if you want to win.

I know i'm not near to being a contender yet but I really thought at this point i'd be on the better end of a .500 record.

Good game, r00k. finally able to sit down and look over the game. Looks like it was pretty even throughout, difference is we had to make you work pretty hard for every point. These were three straight Norfolk drives in the fourth quarter when Norfolk was trying to come back:

                    Code:
                    4	12:58	4:29	OWN 1	8	99	Touchdown
                    4	6:08	1:49	OWN 5	7	39	Downs
                    4	2:27	0:41	OWN 6	4	0	Downs
Each drive start was inside the Norfolk 10 yard line. That was pretty clutch play for our special teams and made Norfolk have to have several long drives when I was up by 17 in order to tie the game or take the lead. I feel pretty good that my defense won't give up those kind of drives very often at home. This, I feel, was the difference in the game, especially since my offense appeared to be in shutdown mode for the final 15 minutes.

I think I have Markel playing at a level I haven't seen him play since he lead us to two championships.

The true test will come week 17 in Norfolk. See you then, buddy.
