may not get to comment on the game for a few hours. So if I lose, don't assume that I am locking myself in a room fuming. You can assume that I am fuming, just that I am going to be doing it in the middle of a sunday brunch with family around wondering why I'm suddenly yelling at my kids.

Always feels good to beat the Cards! I may stroke one out today thinking of that.

Seriously though, I was getting a bit worried, defense looked very vulnerable, but my offense came through late as well as picking up a few key turnovers.

GG Suicane. I predict the next few seasons it'll be us battling for the division yet again. Your roster is looking pretty good and one more off-season may turn you into division contenders again.

Got to watch the game before going to work. Always love these games ... the Vipers came out on the short end today and deservedly so ... dropped passes, penalties didn't help but WV clearly deserved the win. Even had a plan for Jimmy Roberts who was coming off of injury. Despite a double team he catches a 64 yard TD, plus another earlier in the game.

In the end, I am not too upset, just pissed off that we played so poorly even though I thought the game plan was solid. There will be other opportunities ... the last game of the regular season and then perhaps again in the playoffs ...

Congrats Kojure, the day is yours!

              wow!
what a defensive struggle today. HORSE vs. the Newark D..... and HORSE almost won it by himself.
You've got a special player there BOSS. He dominated us today

not that Reno needs any consolation, but that was a statement game. The Wolfpack are for reals.
McNeil just hasn't been in too many comeback games against big teams. Nice patience there Argot.

There was also a Gene Hamilton sighting. He ends up throwing the ball 55 times, and helps lead his team to an upset victory against Vermont.

                        Good game, Mark.

A Scott interception and solid D and a couple nice early drives put us in position to get off to a quick start. We didn't. Our first three possessions ended fairly deep in VAN territory. Failed 4 &5, FG and missed FG. After that the Killer Whales slowly pulled away.

Desperately need to upgrade at DB. I am familiar with Winston Scott he shouldn't be playing like that at this stage in his career. 4/8 34 yards and a pick in the 1st quarter. Finished up 23/25 168 yards. Atrocious.

West Virginia is looking dominant this season.

Ed Wilkins showing that he's the future of the NC. 83 rushing yards to go along with the passing stats listed by Vic Carucci.

Pesky Bulldogs pull ahead by half a game while we rested.

suspicions confirmed. I was feeling pretty good about our defense until the 3rd quarter. McNeil did make a couple of drives at the end, just ran out of time. The quick score at the end of the half really hurt us. We knocked Porter out for 6 weeks, but that's about the only consolation I can afford myself. Just have to keep winning divisional games and hopefully we can take out our frustration on Georgia next week. NC west looking strong this year.

Yeah, we hung on at the end. But, if we had to score I think we could have. You shut down our run game all day. And we ran it 3 times on our last drive. Had we thrown a couple passes, I thinl you score that last TD. But then again, who knows. It was exciting all the way through.
Losing Porter is normal for us. It is a ding we can overcome though.
