It's not a matter of saying Im horrible... it's a matter of saying that this level of play will not be tolerated. These fuckers gotta learn. You can't get complacent in this league.Originally posted by Jave View PostI love it when an undefeated team tells us every week how horrible he is.
Imagine that a man who has only known starvation is now in front of the biggest buffet in the world. He will most likely chastise those that waste food, even though it is now in abundance.
It's also me just me bitching and lamenting the fact that I have lost every starter on my team at some point or another this year ;-)

That's a credit to outstanding gameplanning and your having the foresight to build depth into your team. Props to you. I have had 5-6 starters out this season and lose games haha. I'm not a great gameplanner and icethin on depth. Your doing a great job this year.Originally posted by Chris Rex View PostIt's not a matter of saying Im horrible... it's a matter of saying that this level of play will not be tolerated. gg Clev. we were never much in the game. Perkins ran the offense to precision and nickled and dimed us to death. At one point cleveland had over 25+ rushes to my 5 so we never got on track on offense. Wished I would of gameplanned better since Cleveland (much like port.) runs on 3rd down/and long alot with a barrage of short passes. Still only one game back for the final wild-card spot, so we just need to catch some breaks the last four games...

Barlow starts game 4 for 4 for 51 yards, but Cardinals settle for FG when drive stalls inside Warthog 20. 3-0 St. Louis And of course Fresno starts game with a -3 yard Chapman run - arrughh! Chapman for 7 sets up third and 6 0 yard Schwartz checkdown to rookie WR Gregson. Despite pressure Barlow drops a third and 15 bomb on Fresno for a FD at the Warthog 46.
They are keying heavily on a pass.
Norman Barlow takes the snap from center.
Barlow fires a long pass intended for Running Back Norman Walsh.
Walsh made the reception.
The play goes for 20 yards.
Can't win - lol Another FD this time at Fresno 26. Veteran K Tamaarkin pulled the 37y FGA still 3-0 St. Louis late 1Q. At this point Barlow is 10 for 10 for 116 yards and 4 passing FD and 3 completions of 20+. Warthogs have a 3 and out. Make that two 3 and outs. Barlow finally has one hit the ground after starting game 11 for 11 for 123. 3rd and 3 from own 47 play
They are aggressively expecting a pass.
Norman Barlow fields the snap and drops back to pass.
Barlow throws an intermediate pass intended for Wide Receiver Reggie Strong.
He's throwing away from the double coverage.
The ball was caught by Strong.
The play travels 15 yards.
Still can't win - lol Another FD this time at Fresno 38. And Barlow makes a mistake allowing a tipped ball INT. Cardinals are flustered committing an Unsportsmanlike deadball foul putting Fresno at midfield to end the 1Q still 3-0 St.Louis. Total Yards 147 to 18 and it has been all Barlow all day so far.
Warthogs get some good work done in the run game and Roche shows why he is the "best" Warthog WR splitting double coverage and getting significant YAC to give Fresno a FD at Cardinal 7. Chapman with another of his -3 yard 1d runs - lol 3rd and 9 - bad throw from Schwartz, his third of the day, set up 26 yard Oksenberg equalizer 3-3 ball game early 2Q. Dropped bomb and a stuff set up 3rd and long for Bazooka, but this time Maggard gets some pressure forcing an INC. After the Holliday punt Warthogs take over at their own 21 still early 2Q. Chapman dropps a screen so of course Fresno runs the same play again for 3 setting up 3rd and 7 checkdown to Chapman for 4. Recently resigned Foley gets a good punt away and St.Louis called for holding on the return take over at their 17 mid 2Q. Barlow scramble set up a successful 3d pass to RB Walsh, thats how its done Snap. Stuff and Inc set up 3rd and 8
They are keying heavily on a pass.
Norman Barlow fields the snap and drops back to pass.
Barlow fires an intermediate distance pass to Wide Receiver Jake Pinkney.
Pinkney made the reception.
The play goes for 14 yards.
Still, still can't win - lol Blocked pass and stuff set up 3rd and 11 play and Pickney dropped the Barlow checkdown. PR Ross call for FC at Fresno 12 with just under 5 mins left in this 3-3 ballgame. Illegal shift wipes out nice Chapman so it is 1st and 15 from the 7 to start the drive - arugh! 5 yard pass and 7 yard Chapman run set up 3rd and 3 from the 19 - Hodges defended the Schwartz pass to Warthog WR O'Neal. Foley gets a nice punt that stops at the Cardinal 26. Still 3-3 with just over 3 mins left in the half. Barlow scramble and an uber stuff set up 3rd and 9 just in front of the 2 min warning - Barlow is pressured on the attempted bomb. And Fresno takes over at their 30 with 2 mins left in the half. Fresno called TO with 2 seconds left in the half with ball on St. Louis 48 - 17 yard strike to Roche but the play ends the half. Still a 3-3 ballgame here in the draft position bowl. At least Barlow was contained in the 2Q, but hes still having a monster day. 15-23 for 163 and 7 FDs.
Disjonted drive gets Warthogs to midfield and Foleys punt goes into the EZ in early 3Q action.
Walsh finds a huge opening in the defense.
And he's off to the races.
A defender finally catches up to him.
The run nets 28 yards.
Safety Ricardo Fredrickson made the play.
The ball was knocked out of Walsh's hands.
The ball is at the bottom of the pile.
St. Louis's Norman Barlow recovers it at the bottom of the pile at the 50.
Still, still, still can't win - lol freakin Barlow. Barlows 6 yard scramble on 3rd and 9 set up a Holliday punt into the EZ and its still 3-3 early 3Q. Couple of nice plays by Schwartz and the Warhogs gets the ball to midfield and at this point Fresno has finally caught up to the Cardinals in FDs at 8 each - FWIW. 3rd and 9 play from Schwartz is another bad throw his 4th. Wiggins calls for the FC at the 9. still 3-3 mid 3Q. Fresno gets to Barlow on the 3rd and 1 pass play. Hollidays nice punt goes OOB at the Fresno 42 late 3Q. An ugly end to a nice drive sees Oksenberg lining up for a 50 yard FGA, Karl is 4 of 5 from 50+ heading into this game - it was on target but just short. Cards take over at their own 40 late 3Q. Beauchamp forces an Inc and Card run held to 1 sets up 3rd and 9 play in which Beauchamp forces another Inc.
Emmitt Ross has the ball and he steps into a seam.
He returns the ball 17 yards to the Fresno 33.
Earl Erxleben makes the tackle.
There's a fumble on the play.
St. Louis's Earl Magnone picks up the fumble and returns it 3 yards to the Fresno 30.
still, still, still, still can't win. This could be the game changing TO right here. FD at Warthog 30 late 3Q in 3-3 ballgame. Warthogs pressure Barlow for an Inc and Maggard stuffs the Stephens run setting up 3rd and 10 scramble from Barlow for 2. Tamaarkin dosen't waste his chance nailing the 45 yarder 6-3 St.Louis to end the 3Q.
3rd and 6 pass from Schwartz is badly overthrown - his 5th bad pass of the day - Uuugh!. Hate giving Barlow the ball here. Warthog D extremly familiar with Barlow pass - yeah team! Warthogs force Holliday punt after a Barlow checkdown on 3rd and 10. And Fresno takes over at their 38 early 4Q 6-3 St.Louis. Roberson provides the negative run on 1st down for Fresno here and a couple of Schwartz Inc sees P Foley take the field where he pouches a 32 yarder. Card ball on their 31 still early 4Q. Barlow connects to his TE for a FD to get to midfield still early 4Q.
Walsh runs inside the right guard.
The play goes for 1 yard.
Defensive Tackle Shawn Coronado is credited with the stop, and an assist from Safety Rusty Shapiro.
The ball was knocked out of Walsh's hands.
The referees are unpiling the players.
St. Louis's Randal Dawkins has recovered the fumble at the Fresno 49.
Still, ect can't win - Arruugh! At least Fresno forces a punt, but Ross calls for the FC at the 8 midway thru 4Q Cardinals still lead 6-3. St. Louis defense turns their back on Schwartz on third down and Schwartz scrambles for 25 - huge play there. 3 yard Roberson run, False Start and 12 yard Schwartz to Gregson pass sets up 3rd and 2 from Warthog 44 late 4Q. Chapman stuffed going between the Tackles. Foley with the booming punt and Cardinals take over at their 1 late 4Q. Walsh immediatly runs for 17 to get off the goalline - Damn!
Fresno is gambling on a pass play.
Norman Barlow receives the snap from center.
Barlow heaves a long pass to Wide Receiver Dan Hoover.
The ball was caught by Hoover.
The play travels 20 yards.
He was brought down by Safety Ricardo Fredrickson.
glad Fresno is familiar with Barlow!!!!!!!! Couple of stuffs and Warthog TOs and a False Start set up 3rd and 13 just over 2 mins left. FD here is the game. Cards in 1B 4WRs Fresno expecting pass blitzing SLB Grier - Beauchamp gets the pressure and Bazooka's pass is Inc. Fresno takes over at their own 20 with 1 TO left needing a FG to tie. Schwartz has led the Warthogs to wins a couple of times already this season I would really like to see something special here. 16 yards to Helm, but Fresno called for holding. 1st and 20 from the 10. Not good. WOW! Card D with the illegal contact on chapman gives Fresno FD at the 15 just under 2 mins.
Inc - 17 to Gregson - 16 to Roche - 10 to Roche and Fresno calls their last TO with 55 seconds left and the ball on St.Louis 42. Cards still leading 6-3. Inc - 29 to TE Banks gets ball to the 13 with 25 seconds left - Schwartz with the spike 22 seconds left. Time for a couple of play just can't take a SAC. FREAKIN Coach whimped out and Oksenberg hits the equalizer 6-6 with 15 seconds left. Nice Wiggins return gives St.Louis ball at midfield with 10 seconds left. Barlow picked off to end regulation 6-6.
Fresno wins the coin toss and will recieve to begin OT. Prestbye returns kick to 24 and that is where Schwartz and the Warthogs will take over. Fresno decides to start with the patented -2 Chapman run. 2nd and 12 play sees Winslett springing Chapman for his biggest run of 2017 - 52 yards and it is a FD on the Cardinal 26. Schwartz goes for the bomb, but the Cards were expecting it and it is 2nd and 10 from the 26. 8 yard SAC 3rd and 18 from 34 play sees Cardinals looking for a run - kinda makes sense as right now Fresno is looking at a 51 yard FG too win - 13 yards to Helm, but Fresno called for the hold which gets them out of FG range. 3rd and 28 from the 44 - Aruuggghhh! Winslett springs Roberson for 10 to get back to the 34 - I would kick the 51 yarder for the win, but the Warthogs send in Foley to punt - WTF grow some balls. yep netted 14 yards on the kick.
Cards take over at their 20. Barlow to Becht for 15, Inc, false start, Barlow scramble for 3 set up 3rd and 12 from 33 play. Barlow checked down for 6. Holliday in to punt for 28 yards into the wind.
Fresno takes over at their 33 with 9:18 left in OT. Chapman for 13 and he is over 100 for the first time this season. Roberson for 7, Inc, big 3rd and 3 from Card 47 play sees Schwartz scramble for 8. Warthog FD on St. Louis 39 midway thru OT.
Schwartz was sacked by Defensive End Danny Hendrix for a loss of 1 yard.
Ralph Young should have been able to prevent the sack.
The ball is on the ground.
There's a crowd grabbing for the football.
Fresno's Jay Alcott grabbed it at the bottom of the pile at the St. Louis 40
Warthogs caught a break, heck at least they were going for something. 2nd and 11 at card 40. Hold, second and 21 from 50. Inc. 3rd and 21 from 50. Schwartz dumps to Helm who FUMBLES
Safety Tony Hawkins made the tackle.
That looks like a fumble.
The officials are unpiling the players.
St. Louis's Bump Burke has the fumble at the St. Louis 45.
Well that flipped the field with 6 and a half mins left in OT. Barlow Inc, 3 run, 3rd and 7 Beauchamp with the pressure Inc. 4th and 7 from own 48 5:36 left and Holliday pins the Warthogs at their 5. Chapman for 4, Schwartz to Helm - who dosen't fumble - for 9 for a FD at the 18. Schwartz to Roche for 3, Schwartz to TE Mitchell for 6 sets up 3rd and 1 from 27 with 3:16 left. Cards defending the run but still Burroughs pressures Schwartz for an Inc. Foleys punt is away and Wiggins return it to the Cards 38 with just under 3 mins left in OT. Edwards pressures Barlow Inc, Pinkney drop, 3rd and 10 and Salmon allows Coronado and Edwards to meet Barlow 6 yards in the backfield to force a Cardinal punt - huge play. Hollidays punt rolls to a stop at the Fresno 28. Warthogs need about 40 yards here to give Oksenberg a chance.
Schwartz to Gregson for 13, Inc and the Cards were familiar with that play. rut-row. Schwartz to Chapman for 10. Fresno calls TO. 1st and 10 at the Card 49 needing another FD to get into FG range. 43 seconds left. Inc, Schwartz to chapman for 0 and a TO. 3rd and 10 from 49 24 seconds left. Inc with a pass defended. Here is the ballgame. 4th and 10, FREAKIN PUNT!
Barlow drops another FD pass to end the most boring game in IFL history, and no draft positions were injured during this tie.
I know Suicane has too be dissapointed with the final the way Barlow started the game. I know I am not pleased with the outcome.
So many missing pieces even this many season into the rebuild.
LOL - Schwartz got PoG, guess somebody had too get it.
CB Ficken Out with seperated shoulder and WR O'Neal questinable with a knee. Card DE Malone broke his ankle, that will learn him.
Still can't believe Warthogs punted ball away to end OT.sigpic

I'm not panicking though, it's rare that my offensive line and Wilson get totally shut down. Looking at Madison's roster I still can't figure out how he totally owned my offense and defense, that's a head scratcher but I will just forget this week and focus on next week.
GG Jave!
In two games against us Mr. Geoff "Hurricane" Wilson has 21 carries for 50 yards. Its not a coincidence either Jave. Wilson has been downgraded to a tropical storm against the Demons.
Injury bug is biting us too. Hurts losing my SS rookie Levon Elliott to a ACL. Keeping my fingers crossed he comes back ok because he was gonna be something really special.

Hey bro, it was a GG. I was waiting for you to post to tell ya, I'm not discounting your gameplan. It was brilliant. I started watching the game and knew after the first 5 plays I had lost and stopped watching. You tore me a new ass right from the start.Originally posted by BOSS View PostGG Jave!

What I was referring to in my original post was that I had been pretty lucky the last 4-5 weeks and I just knew, I felt I was due for a loss. But grats to you bro, I'm not taking anything away from your win bro. No worries, I got your number the next time we meet. Your dead lucky Donovan was out

GG Coder. Too much pressure on McNeil..too many penalites...whatever...had a chance to take advantage of a weak schedule...guess they are taking advantage of a weak team. And to think I don't even get the satisfaction of getting a better #1 pick with this embarrasing losing streak because I traded it away!!!MIAMI VICE - 2074

Big win for us this week. Nice comeback for Hamilton and co. Jamison ran very well in this game, but it wasn't enough for you guys.Originally posted by Matt View PostWell, we got ours again. Big time back and forth heavyweight fight. We had a 10 pt lead late in the 3rd and couldn't hold Hamilton down. Gene tore us to shreds with short passes for long gains. 50% of his passing yards were YAC yards. BAH!!!!
We owned the time of possession, but our passing game was really inconsistent. I wish the King would get his shit together. I was hoping we would squeeze this one out, but when Hoover got hurt in the 4th, I knew I'd be in shit. He's Burgers favorite target and a key 3rd down contributor.
GG Cy. I would love the chance to beat you. my record vs. the Lions has been very poor. Good luck the rest of the way. I have an eeery feeling we'll be seeing eachother again.......
It was a fun game to watch.

was the longest Warthog game ever. What a horrid game. Neither team, other than the Cards in the first Q, could do anything. Really don't think it was stellar Ds either.
I am unsure if Warthogs have went back, but clearly have not went forward.
Still can't believe punted in OT from the 34. I have Oksenbergs FG range set at like 54 and 59 for cryin' out loud.sigpic

Ok, I did good a couple weeks and then blew it for a few weeks. Youth soccer season is about to start though and it's been crazy. I really am trying to keep it going though, export submitted this week. Starters are back in the lineup as they should be.My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
