Ya, something ain't right with McNeil. He seems a little loose. Big play after big play, but then throws it all down the drain with INT's. Maybe he's just figuring some stuff out. Burger did a lot of that too early in his careerOriginally posted by Argot View PostInt's and penalties...had you shut down and was on your side of the field and still came up empty. tied the game, only to have it called back and McNeil is awful when he has to pass and doesn't have Castillo to keep defenses guessing.

In the inaugral 'Britbowl' Dave's mules threw 4 Ints and still managed to slide past the Outlaws 15-10.
A sloppy game which wasn't pretty to watch.
Next up the undefeated F-Birds.....man I would love to knock them off their perch!!

GG Chris, congratulations.Originally posted by Chris Rex View PostThis game had everything.
Safety, Fumble returned for a TD, 30 yard TD run, Bombs for TDs, etc etc
I started off with HORRIBLE field position for the entire 1st half, starting regularly inside my 8.
The game ended with a goaline stand from 1st and 8. Ball goes over on down after 4 miracle pass stops.
I am truly starting to believe in God.
GG IWC... I guarantee you win that game 9 out of 10 times. I just seem to have divine intervention at this point. I don't get it.
This has to be the most amazing game in my IFL career, unfortunately with the wrong winner. ;-)
IWC outgained MTL 455 to 209 yards and Montreal gets two fumble returns for a touchdown and a safety. Well this seems the year for Montreal, and not so much for IWC.
Away from this game I am really happy for you to do that well this year and will be rooting for you from now on (with the exception of week 15)GM since 2015

I've never been sold on McNeil and have been harboring resentment that I inherited him after a trade to move up handcuffed our ability to make other picks. I need to let it go. That being said, I think we will be in the market for a QB this offseason.Originally posted by Matt View PostYa, something ain't right with McNeil. He seems a little loose. Hell of a battle, Fresno. It came down to the final seconds. It was a bit of a tale of two halves. The first half was ours and the second yours, but I was kicking field goal. Fortunately, we came alive again late in the fourth and then managed to hold off your surge.Last edited by jeffrey; 08-13-2010, 10:36 PM.

GG Coder. I thought the game would be a shootout given our offensive and defensive rankings, but it turned out to be low-scoring with a lot of punting. The only turnover of the game - the fumble on the punt return - was a pretty big play. It was encouraging to get a win against a quality team after our meltdown in the last minute against Newark last week.
Now we have to go on the road to Oakland. I know we're only to the halfway point of the season, but if OAK wins he's got a 2.5 game lead with 7 to go and a pretty nice home schedule. So if I want a chance at the division this is almost a must win. I'd really like that last game of the season against Oak to be meaningful.
Also, it's disturbing that I just lost my 2nd best o-lineman right when I have to face Doyle!

1st posession - Offsides and hold set up an unsuccessul 3rd and 21. 38 yard punt give Seals ball in Warthog territory
2nd posession - 1 yard pass/drop set up 3rd and 9 which was tipped and picked giving Seal ball in Warthog territiory
3rd posession - couple of Warthog FDs set up second Schwartz SAC of day in which Albert was stripped and Portland returned ball 9 yards.
4th posession - penalty set up 6 yard scramble on 3rd and 9.
5th posession - Schwartz hurt on a Chapman run, stayed in game. Hold nullifies a 20+ yard reception and set up 3rd and a bunch which led to another Schwartz pick.
6th posession - Schwartz threw his 3rd pick of game on second and 11 from Portland 17.
16-7 Seals at the half. Incredibly Warthogs still in the game, but way that Seals have dominated and gotten every call and all but 1 break it is just a matter of time before Portland puts it away.
7th posession - Schwartz to Peko for a TD. 19-14 Portland late 3Q.
8th posession - Fresno takes over at their own 3 down by 6 and immediatly have a false start. 2 false starts and a drop set up a 3rd and 18 incompletion
9th posession - Fresno ran the ball for a 1st down on Seals 26, but a hold set up a 12 yard pass on 3rd and 13. 44 yard FG good 19-17 Seals early 4Q
10th posession - 3 and out with 3 pass defensed/blocks by Seals
11th posession - Warthogs take over ball at own 29 down 22-17 mid 4Q. 25 yard Chapman run nullified by penalty setting up a Fresno hold which led to another Schwartz SAC on 3rd and 23.
NOTE that Seals 24 yard run was not nullified by penalty which set up a 20 yard Caro TD pass and a 12 point lead late 4Q.
12th posession - Chapman's -5 yard run NOT nullified by anything. Warthog ball 1 and G at Portland 9 at the 2 minute mark. A 7 yard Schwartz scramble and and 2 completions to Chapman for 1 and -1 yards set up 4th and Goal from the 2 & its a 2 yard Schwartz to Peko TD. 29-24 Portland
Onside kick with just under a minute left - Warthog WR Gregson comes up with the ball.
13th posession - FB Kreen with a big gain under the coverage. Warthogs at Portland 31 with 36 seconds left. 1 and 10 Fresno at Portland 21 with time left for 2 plays. FALSE START make that the 26. 20 yards Schwartz to Roche and Warthogs get the time out. It all comes down to this play from the Portland 6 - and Adamov breaks Fulchers spine as Portland forces the incompletion.
Typical Warthog game - own worst enemy all the time.Last edited by Kobeck; 08-13-2010, 09:14 PM.sigpic

GG for you this week. After being lights out the last couple of weeks, the O took a day off.Originally posted by Beeznik View PostJekyll and Hyde, meet Georgia.
We didn't play great, but we played well enough to sneak out a win vs. Pennsylvania. Harding gets pressured too much.
Good luck the rest of the way Beezniksigpic
