    GG Snipe Hunters,
The proverbial game of two halves - first half belonged to Iowa but the Outlaws won the second to pull out a shock victory over their bitter division rivals.

Always nice to win in your division, just wish a few more fans had turned up.
Still looking to ship the franchise out at some point.

tough loss for my team, two big holding penalties in the first half prevented Iowa City from possibly scoring more points, two late interceptions in the 4th quarter sealed the victory for Wichita.

Good game by your team in the second half.

Our division is going to be very tough again with Cleveland and especially Montreal playing very well this year

We suck on the road. Two more fumbles this week, penalties galore and poor special teams play. We couldn't stop Madison's offense, period.

        GG BOSS.

It was a crazy game as always when Tulsa and Pennsylvania meet. The Lions win the regular season match up, as always. I made it interesting. But really couldnt get closer then 14 the whole game.

            GG Cy.

And where is my running game?

This game wasn't as close as the score indicated. Jave totally shut down our running game and we couldn't stop anything...constantly getting to 3rd down only to see them convert. I hate Bryan McNeil.

An impressive Lynx drive stalls at the Warthog 6 forcing a chipshot FGA by Sanderson. But there was a bad snap allowing Fresnos Odenbach to sneak thru for the block. Warthog ball at their own 6 early 1Q. Fresno with a penalty assisted 3 and out and Anchorage recovers the fumbled PR to take posession at midfield mid 1Q. Anchorage attempts a 49 yard FGA and the Warthogs might have gotten a finger on it as the ball is way short. Fresno ball at their own 39 still mid 1Q. Warthogs hold kills any chances on this drive but Foley gets a good punt off and Lynx start inside their own 20 late 1Q. Colella's scripted plays worked just like in pratice on this 83 yard TD drive 7-0 Anchorage late 1Q. First Q ends with Fresno facing 3rd and 3 at Lynx 47 still 7-0 Anchorage.

Ammazingly Fresno executed a 6 yard pass to Ross without having it called back on a penalty. Chapman stuffed at the LoS on 3rd and 1 and the D was very familiar with that play early 2Q - not looking good for the visiting Warthogs WOW! Oksenberg hits the 49 yarder 7-3 Lynx early 2Q. Hate giving Anchorage the ball here. Lynx are 3 of 4 on 3rd downs this drive settling for a 28 yard Snaderson FG. 10-3 Anchorage. At this point in game Anchorage has ran 33 plays for 229 yards and are 6-9 on third down with no penalties while Fresno has ran 14 plays for 86 yards and the Warthogs are only 1 of 4 on 3D with 3 penalties helping to make sure drives stall, but it is still a 1 score game late in the 2Q. Make note - Lynx called for offsides at the 3:18 mark of 2Q, just sayin'. Nice drive by Schwartz and the Warthogs ties the game 10-10 with 3:18 left in the first half. Interesting call by Fresno HC declining an Anchorage hold that would put them out of FG range but given Colella a third and 20, instead Sanderson hits the 52 yarder 13-10 Lynx with just over 2 mins left in 2Q. Another Warthog penalty and another Fresno stalled drive gives Lynx the ball at their own 1 after another brilliant Foley punt. Of course Colella executes on 3rd down and Anchorage takes a 13-10 lead into the half.

All things considered I guess I am happy it is a 3 point game with Warthogs getting the ball to start 3Q. At the half Anchorage is dominating the stats running 40 plays to Fresnos 21, Lynx are 7 of 11 on 3D while Warthogs are only 1 of 5 and Anchorage is on pace for over well over 500 yards offense if the Warthogs cannot get some stops on 3D.

Chapman starts 3Q with a negative run - go team! But Snap gets 11 on second down for the first running Warthog FD of the day. Schwartz to Roche for 4 yards on third and 9 - AAAARUUUGH!!!!! Fresno rookie LB Quinn smothered Lynx WR Berry for a 1 yard loss on third and 2 - looks like somebody needs to wake up the Lynx punter mid 3Q. There has been a Snap Chapman sighting here in Anchorage as Chapman rushes the Warthogs to midfield and Schwartz dumps a ball off to FB Kreen who suprised the Lynx and Warthogs are in the Blue Zone. And Schwartz finds FA signing TE Mitchell in the EZ and for the first time today the Warthogs take the lead. 17-13 Fresno late 3Q. X-Mule TE Portis with block on THIRD DOWN to extend Lynx drive. After an intentional Facemask on Lynx it is 3rd and 21 from Anchorage 22 - Colella BOMB to first overall pick Rhinehart into double coverage is incomplete because Warthog DE Pippen hurried the throw. Fresno with the ball and the lead late 3Q. Warthogs convert a 3rd and 1 using a backup TE to block for the second string RB Roberson. Another 3D conversion Schwartz to Roche and the 3Q ends with the score Fresno 17 Anchorage 13.

Warthogs use Roberson for another successful 3D play this time with BU G James leading the way. Huge play early 4Q 3rd and 4 from Lynx 6:
The offense is in the Strong formation with two tight ends, strength on the left side.
Anchorage is in a 34 alignment with 2-deep man-to-man coverage.
They are expecting a run play.
Albert Schwartz receives the snap from center.
Schwartz steps up, and flicks a very short pass to Tight End Harry Unsbee.
                Unsbee caught the pass.
That's good for 6 yards and a touchdown!
Unsbee gained 5 yards after the catch.
Unsbee was activated today because he can play teams better than Blevins. Schwartz really uses all his targets!. 24-13 Fresno early 4Q. Nice KR gives Lynx ball midfield early 4Q. X-Mule Portis continues to punish Fresno today and Collela to Berry for the 2 pointer 24-21 Warthogs with just over 9 mins to go. Schwartz to O'Neal for 5 yards on 3D and 9, back to the old Warthog O and Foley with a nice punt gives Lynx ball at their own 28 mid 4Q. 18 yard run on 3D and 6 give Lynx ball at Fresno 36 with 3:52 left. Colella does not dissapoint the home crowd and that successful 2 point conversion is huge at Anchorage retakes the lead 28-24 at the 3:19 mark. Can Schwartz do it again this week? Sanderson get the TB and Fresno has to go 80 yards for the win. Schwartz to O'Neal for 30 yards for a 1D at midfield called back by penalty, what else is new as Anchorage has had the home cooking all day long. Anchorage make the first pick of the season against Fresno as Phillips sniped Schwartz with 2:09 left. Here is the game 3D and 1 and ramsey for 1 yard without any penalties called on the Lynx. Final 28-24 Lynx

Gotta say I was most displeased with the penalty discrepancies and timing. Warthogs were abused by the refs today especially on the hold that wiped away the Warthog FD at midfield late in the game. All momentum was gone from Warthog sideline after that play.
                Oh well good game BuddaKingII

Phantom offense was clicking all day and benefited early from 2 Vermont fumbles in their territory to go up by double digits early. Not the best performance from the Mountaineers. Better luck next time, coder.

Kozure...always the master of the 15-yard "very short" pass. I used to think those were due to Horton, but now I'm beginning to think you have some gameplan secrets I don't know about.

Tough game. I think this was a bit of a fluke. I think we come close to even if we sim this game 10 times, but I guess I got the rolls, this time. See you in the playoffs.

Burger was so so today, but there was another Situation going down.

We made some big changes today. 1st was the last minute pickup of Julio Wheeler and 2ndly we picked up a new kicker. I love Butch Schultz, but he's really been struggling this year. New kicker didn't fair too much better, but hoping for some better results going forward.

happy to be where I'm at. Looking to keep trucking on in our quest for playoff entrance and future success.

                          GG Beez

Was worried about this game as your team has been playing well this year and your kinda hard to gameplan against with a balanced team. Harding was good today but we jumped on you early.

This was Irby's best game so far this year. Probably will be his best game all year. He was in a zone.

Guess being shopped this week lit a fire under TE Brenden Fields ass. He finally showed up this week with a nice game.

RB Dana Davidson might not be highly regarded around IFL circles but he has taken over the starting RB position and is doing a really nice job, averaging 6 yards a carry so far.

Big game @ home next week against Penn. Need a 'W' to have any chance at the NC North division.
