How about Michael Loupe coming in from the press box and catching 2 TD's. Just the last 2 TD's so we could win the game.

The "huckN'chuck" is alive and well proving that until I am able to figure out how to defend quarterbacks just dropping back to pass 40 times a game I'm not going to move into the elite teams of the league. I'm still convinced this game gives WAY to much credit to QB/WR/WR and the running game is still not given it's due when it comes to gameplanning....but that's for another post.

Good game bro. Sepulveda still has it.

I think the key stat in your game was Vermont's possession time. They didn't get that from Virgil per sey, but from rookie RB Gerhardt racking up 20 carries.

I am so glad we won a close game which alternated from a D battle to a friggin shootout.

Cleveland is always a thorn in our sides, and vice versa. This game could easily flip the next meeting.

I have learned to hate WR Markel, even at this advanced stage of his career.. Im late to the party on this one ;-)

That being said, thank God we've won what we've won, because Ozzy being out gives us a .500 outlook over the next few games.

Someone must hate the F-Birds. For the majority of the first part of the season (and at some overlapping times):

                Starting LT - OUT
                Starting MLB- OUT
                Starting RB- OUT
                Backup MLB- OUT

This latest one will be way too much to take, in my opinion.

Well the key stat was my 5 fucking turnovers. This was just one of those games I was gonna lose regardless. The non-stop road games are finally taking their toll as well. 5 road games in 6 weeks, I consider myself lucky to be at 4-2 and not the other way around. BUT, the good news is Wingfield is about to take the field for the first time this year when we travel(yep, another road game) to Reno next week. I'm sure my friends in Reno will be ECSTATIC to hear that!!

Close game in the end versus the Voodoo.
Thought we were gonna catch you there Wolfman but it wasn't to be.

Sullivan did okay for you but we just couldn't stop your run game.

Warthogs force a punt on the Grizzlies game opening drive. Freno's opening drive was penalty infused and the offensively confused drive lead to a 33 yard Oksenberg FG. 3-0 Fresno mid 1Q. Hartford turns a nice KOR into a missed 44 yard Bailey FGA. Roberson is looking sluggish on this cold day - LOL. Fresno takes advantage of the decent field position to set up a Oksenberg 51 yard blast. 6-0 Fresno at the end of 1.
Grizzlies turn another good KOR and a Warthog dead ball penalty into a 16 yard Johnston to Goldberg TD. 7-6 Hartford early 2Q. Warthogs drive stalls short of midfield and Hartford takes over at their 30. Warthog D not moving quickly on this cold day - WTF! 2 huge Grizzlie runs result in another Hartford TD 14-6 Grizzlies mid 2Q. Nice drive for Fresno results in another Oksenberg blast 14-9 Hartford inside 2 mins of 2Q. HUGE KOR gives Grizzlies 1-10 at Fresno 28 with 1:08 left in half reslts in a Bailey 50 yarder that negates Warthog drive. 17-9 Hartford at the half.
Fresno with an impressive drive to open the second half. 17-16 Hartford mid 3Q. Another good KOR gives Grizzlies ball near midfield which results in a missed Bailey 9 yard FGA. Huge Schwartz to Chapman 1 yard FD reception allows Warthog drive to continue inside Hartford territory. 17-16 Grizzlies at the end of 3.
Hartford stopped Warthogs inside their 20 - but an offsides gives the Warthogs a FD at Hartford 12, but Schwartz cannot do anything with the 3 downs and Oksenberg hits a 33 yarder to put Fresno in the lead 19-17 early 4Q. Hartford takes over at their own 32 after the KOR - they gotta be dissappionted with that - lol. 9 yard Johsnton to Schultz reception on 3rd and 9 gives Grizzlies FD at Fresno 43 which sets up a Bailey 52 yard FG giving Hartford the lead again at 20-19 still early 4Q. Of course Grizzlies tipped ball away on huge Warthog 3rd and 6 from the Fresno 40 giving Harford the ball and the lead mid 4Q. HUGE Beauchamp SAC and Strip gives Fresno ball at Grizzlies 1 mid 4Q. Chapman runs backward a yard on 1D, and Snap got nothing on second as the D was very familiar with that play. And Chapman got shoved back another yard on 3D setting up a Oksenberg 20 yard FG. 22-20 Fresno with just under 5 mins left. No KOR for Hartford as Oksenber gets a TB, another big play at this point in game. Impressive Johnston drive gives Hartford a TD 27-22 Hartford at the 2 min warning, but did the Grizzlies leave too much time for Schwartz to work - YES Schwartz to Poston on 4th down for the go ahead TD with 0:06 left and Chapman with the successful 2 pointer makes score 30-27 Fresno. What a finish on a cold day.

Roberson did not fumble so it looks like Fresno has a backup for Chapman - for now. Schwartz was PoG inside the game and I have too agree. Fresno D did a good job overall against Grizzlie run game as most of those Hartford run yards were on 1 impressive drive. Johnston had a good day except for the strip by Beauchamp. Hartford Sacked Schwartz as much in the first half as Albert had been sacked all season. Hartford WR caught 14 of 19 targeted passes against Fresno's depleted secondary. Kicking game was the deciding factor as Foley pinned Grizzlies deep to set up the Beauchamp SAC and strip and Oksenberg went 5-5, 4-4 from 40+ with 2 50+ yard blasts. Folse and Bailey were good but on this day Foley and Oksenberg were better. Hartford KOR was crazy good giving Johnston great field position most of the day. Schwartz did not have a good day in the Bluezone, but he normally is pretty good once Warthogs get there so I am hoping it was just the cold day - again WTF!
Fresno goes to Anchorage next week, this has rarley led to good things for Fresno.

We get by a game Dakota team. Luckily they could only score FGs.
2 fumbles by us deep in our territory in the 1st half almost killed us. But the defense was stout again.

Sanford was the man today. 22/29 for 270 yds and 2 TDs. Thank you, Mr. Sanford.

Scott Fortune is taking over the backup RB duties from rookie Albert Parrish. Parrish is really struggling. Hopefully, Fortune has enough in his tank to carry the bal 5-10 times a game.

GG DG. You always play us tough. Today was no different.

Georgia loses to LR and Cringer. Cringer will do some good things with LR. Pull an upset here and there. I would imagine Tulsa will be one of them.
