Man this place gets so boring after the draft. During the draft you can log on and every one is together and there is alot of buzz going on. Alot of talking and emotion. Even if some of that emotion is homosexual feelings LOL. Either way it gets kinda bland around here. We need to start using the chatroom more.

I felt the same way last year, and this year too of course, but I know I wouldn't be able to handle it year round. It gets pretty intense during the draft, but I purposely allocate the time needed then.

seriously when it isn't off season I hardly find a reason to come post. Besides a once in a while post or article or bookie thing. Need some more chit chat during the season. Even if it is MTL and MAD talking about fucking TUL. Or MAD going on about measureing all the propects in the draft pools dicks. Something needs to be exciting during the year.

Ironically it's the people who held/hold up the draft and were complained about that trigger the chat talk. There's too much self-focus in the IFL. If a GM can log on and get his fix without giving to the group too many will do so, which is what happens with a set schedule during the season. However, if a GM logs on and finds he can't get his immediate gratification - such as when draft picks aren't flying by - only then will some think to add something other than the 1-2 sentences about their team.

Let Matt/Sui release files 3-4 hours late all season and watch the forum post #'s go up.

While DG is correct, the reality is that if we did have a draft every week, there just would not be the same buzz. Too much gratification. The buzz is partially generated by the fact that we draft only 2 times per year.

I know a frequent draft is not realistic.. it IS just sad that for only 2 weeks a year do we see such chatter :-)

                          It sucks, yes.
As TB stated in his article, the draft and TC are like Christmas. It's unfortunate that people tune out as their team does during the season. There are only so many playoff teams.

I dont care about the playoffs... I just want to be able to team up with Boss all year long and scare the crap out of DK using 'gay tactics'...

It's unfortunate IMO since those are some of the more interesting stories: what philosophy towards rebuilding are the 3-9 teams thinking of taking? what is the move that the 9-7 tie-breaker loser is intending to make to get over the hump?

I try to write articles to be active but who wants to hear about the teams with 12+ wins... "We won this week. It was pretty much like many other weeks. The same players did the same thing... again"
