Does anyone else think this draft is really really sad? I was looking to move up last night into the end of the first to snag a safety and scanning the players, at the end of the first round mind you, the average player rating was 3.9-4.5. I mean, with six rounds left were already looking at bench fodder. The few starters there were sucked. Is Jim trying to suck the talent out of the game. Now the average good players in the draft, the ones that make people wanna trade up for it appears are going to be 1-12, and after that, don't bother.

I'm just hoping my underrated corner I traded up to get, creeps in tc and unmasks well during the season. I'd hate to think I moved up back into the first round for a corner with a future rating of 45....OUCH!!!! But, we'll be patient with the guy.

BTW that looks like a damn solid pick. I have had him on the radar since middle of the first.

not every year yeilds "great" players. We have a lot of talent in this league from our TCY import days. Perhaps what we are seeing is a little more close to normal.........though I still think this draft is a down year.

                        WHERE ARE THOSE LB's
                        NEWARK BULLDOGS WALL OF HONOR
                        DE JUSTIN JONES
                        LB DOMINGO PERSAUD
                        TE THOMAS MACOMBER
                        LT IRWIN KAO
                        WR ANDREW ROBEY
                        SS GREGORY BOYD
                        RB ALAN CRESPO
                        G MALCOLM "BIG KAT" SINGLETON
                        WR WALTER WALKER
                        G AMOS BAILEY
                        QB DWIGHT "KING" BURGER
                        RB GARY "THE SITUATION" JAMISON
                        WR JOSE HOOVER
                        K BUTCH SCHULZ
                        LB MACK EDWARDS
                        DE STEPHEN BRIGHAM
                        WR JESSE LUCAS

I'd rather go back to TCY and have the league with more then average good players then realism. It makes the game more fun.

Texas is very happy to get Center Mark Hoppe (35-7Eight) at pick 1-23. I hadn't wanted a center but I thought he was the best overall player left And my OL has given up many sacks this past season and he should be the anchor for years to come. I had him at #1 center and thought he would go before Swasey. He also comes to the team with some experience at RG. I HOPPE he works out.

I gotta disagree. There was nothing fun about every team being a carbon copy of the next. I still can't wait for our league to be more realistic regarding QBs so we stop seeing 7 QBs at the top of the draft class in round 3 since no one views the most important position on the field as a need.
