Week #14 Discussion

This team amasses more penalties than I've ever seen in my FOF life, and it's been the undoing of many a game here in the IFL. Lost by three, and we had our chances.

Well I tried. GG you just have to many weapons and instead of starting off slow this week, we fell asleep with the lead. SIGH

Now on to get my ass kicked by Vito...good times.

good game. I thought with those two straight turnovers and one that was returned for a TD that we just didn't have it this week. The key to the game was us stopping you inside my 20, holding you to a field goal and 20-14 lead instead of you going up by 10...it was just a big big moment.

You had a great gameplan. I thought it was going to be much closer when I got the lead but your D shut me down in the second half, I couldn't get anything going at all. It was a great game. I tell ya, since the patch winning on the road is WAY harder then before. I dread road games now.

The Outlaws tried to do a sneaky job on TE Morton who is one scary guy to play against...trouble is our depleted corners couldn't stop QB Sepulveda finding his other targets.

A close game until the middle of the 3rd qtr when Vermont were able to get some seperation.
We're not built to come from behind so it was game over from that point.
Congrats on the deserved win.

Wichita face a tough run in now and we will consider ourselves lucky if we scrape to 8-8.

Who is Archie Lake!?!??? 11 targets, 10 catches, 117 yards!!! Somehow he was contained late but for 3 or so quarters he was unstoppable.

Very happy to sneak out of Montreal with a win. My defense and offense "couldn't move on this sluggish day" but one bad pass from Cote gave us the game.

Very sorry about Osborne. Happened so late and down by 10.

A very rare Bulldog loss drops Newark from 1st place for the first time in 2016.

Nothing like spotting the opponent 24 points before you start to play. Boston started to get snake bit in the late 3rd quarter and if I would have had a QB that could sling it longer, might have pulled this one out. GG Boston...totally owned me for 3 1/2 quarters.

Toads made tons of mistakes, Pens and TOs, but even so Schwartz had to have a drive with just seconds left on the clock for a Fresno victory.

still not technically out of POs, but that is just a formality.

Always fun to go against Cringer the Esteemed founder of the IFL.

I was worried about this game against the Clawz, but didn't expect us to just not show up. Our normally stout defense was brutal. We couldn't stop the pass or the rush. Then you throw in poor special teams, and that equals a loss.
Perkins was good, as expected but we were exploited by Hunter Battle. UGH! Well, gotta learn and move on. Can't win them all.

The Clawz came in to their second game of the week with a chip on their shoulder. After getting our ass handed to us by Lawrence two weeks ago, the team really wanted this win in prime time.

Played our best game this season without a doubt. Defense made some mistakes, but the offense was immaculate and Virgil fantastic!

Just so teams know, Vermont might not make the playoffs, but we're not sitting down inviting teams to the win because of it.

Yeah, my QB is no longer a stud either; I'd hate to REX my offensive gameplans but it's looking like that's going to be the way to go soon

I fell real lucky. If I hadnt won the field position battle, I wouldnt have won the game.

My only bright spot! He has finally learned to play TE after being drafted as a FB in round 2 last year
