D'oh! I must admit I didn't fully appreciate the timeout bug until it reared it's ugly head in the VAN-SLC game today. I don't understand why there hasn't been a patch for it yet. But...I don't want to take anything away from SLC. They were able to drive the ball alarmingly well on us and win with their backup QB. Our defense seemed kind of soft this week - I'm not sure if that was a function of game-planning or something else. And to give up a 104yd KO return - ouch!

Off to play in front of the hostile Oakland crowd next week. Regarding Hinson, I think he just really misses Vancouver.

GG IWC, just was not in the cards for the Vipers today. You look to have a great battle for the division with Cleveland, much like mine with the dreaded Beasts who you play next week.

Now we move on to Boston. Got to win to stay perfect in division play and keep our pricks in front of the Beasts to admire.

        Got to love the rivalry

I swapped the positions of two rookies, DT<->DE, and one got a sack early on and then both met up for a combined sack later on. Very promising there. Overall the Phantoms defense had 5 sacks, 3 INTs, a fumble recover, and a blocked FG yet Sepulveda still seemed to do as he pleased quite often.

          GG coder!

I'm loving the Phantoms crop of rookies so far!!

It's still early but as it stands there could be some teams with very good records sitting on the NC sidelines to start the post-season.

GG, thought I was done when Edwards went down -- my backup seems to be a star-in-the-wings; loved his numbers when I drafterd him and now he's got a win under his belt too

GG r00k, I thought of this game as a test for the quality of my team, and although I am not completely satisfied with the play of my offense I am happy that the defense played very well against a very good offensive team.

And I will of course try to not interfere in your division and win against West Virginia as well ;-)

Is Lansing the worst 6-1 team of all time?

as ive pointed out in the winning edge articles. you have faced 5 teams ranked 25th or worse in the league so far and 4 of them at home. no reason to be dumbfounded. your just playing the frail basement dwellers.
