Whilst looking at renegotiating a contract for my two new free agents I stumbled upon a trend that scares me. It used to be that alot of players would renegotiate their deals for more guaranteed money, sometimes for less than the original contract. That day is done. Castillo wants $16m and goes up from there. Alot of players are going to want more money. I think the 6.3 patch will finally bring us back down to earth. Can't afford to just throw big money at free agents or we won't be able to sign guys we want to keep. This is good for the league...

ya, I started up a a single player career game for teh first time since FOF 2k1. I noticed that the contracts are much more in line.
