We are disappointed that we only put 57 on Lawrence. We are thinking we can hit 70 in the rain.

I am absoutly stunned that the Warthogs are double digit favorites. I hope too win of course, but I would take the points if I was betting.

Game of the week. Good test for Norfolk against us. Hate playing a game like this on the road, but those are the breaks. Made some big changes, lets hope they pay off, or at least, the computer actually does what I'm telling it to do.

                      Good luck r00k.

Interesting stat: Week 4,beat LR by 3, Week 5, lost to Reno...by 3, Week 6, lost to Texas by...Yep, 3. There's a major flaw in my gameplan, thank god for bye weeks. It appears my team can't score in the first quarter either. It's not till we get behind by 2 scores we wake up and start to play but by then it's to late.
I swear this game is so random, there is no consistency.

This game scared the shit out of me. I thought Jamison would have one of those high carry / low yard games. I thought I'd find myself in 3rd and short, and we'd be able to manage the clock. This worked in the first half.
The entire 3rd qtr seemed like a field position battle....with Madison winning those mini battles. Come 4th qtr, I was starting to lose faith. The Demons scored to tie it up at 24.
4Q: 01:05 MAD - Brenden Fields 1 pass from Will Irby (Freddie Charlton extra point)

Then the craziest thing I've ever had happen, happened.

Newark: I formation with two tight ends, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 and 1-deep, man-to-man coverage, expecting the run.
1-10-NWK28 (4Q: 00:50) Dwight Burger pass fell incomplete, intended for TE O.J. Peltier. DE Trevor Lindsay hurried the quarterback into a bad throw.
Newark: Weak formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, expecting the run.
2-10-NWK28 (4Q: 00:44) Dwight Burger pass completed to WR Jose Hoover for 16 yards. Tackled by CB Lenny Wicker. Hoover gained 3 yards after the catch.
Newark: Strong formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, keying aggressively on the run. Cortez is blitzing.
1-10-NWK44 (4Q: 00:27) Dwight Burger pass completed to WR Jamie Williams for 56 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Williams gained 50 yards after the catch. Newark 30, Madison 24
(4Q: 00:27) Extra point by Butch Schulz was good. Newark 31, Madison 24
