I'm looking forward to seeing what the young Libertarians are gonna do on opening day. Gameplans are time tested in the DFL and I'm getting a good handle on the patch, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The teams I have here and in the DFL are very similar, so we'll see how that translates.

We'll run to set up the pass, and on defense our philosophy will be to mix things up, keep the ball in front of us, and make the opponent kick field goals in the red zone. Let's see if that works.

Good luck guys, looking forward to the game and the season. Now, if only I could beat Tarc here, I'd be in dog heaven....

Texas goes into week 1 with a couple of injuries. Chung is out this week and probably week 2 also but I have a nice replacement in Steiner. The defense also lost Safety Boldin for the 1st couple of games. Seven people injured. 20 extra minutes in TC for weight training and this is what I get. Little Rock is always tough and we could lose easily. GL Cringer.

So begins what I'm hoping is our best season in years. I'm talking about winning the NC East and winning in the playoffs.

I'm looking for some serious battles between Jamison and Winfred Reilly and Rickey Moss and R.J. "The Leash" Kley

Two TD's in the last 45 seconds of the game gave Texas a undeserved win in Little Rock 21-20. QB Steiner couldn't do crap against LR's defense but pulls it out in the end. I was swearing at him the whole game. GG Cringer.

                      Somewhat of a tainted win.........

                      but

I'm happy to see this team come together. Offense was good. Defense was good. "The Situation" seems to be in a good situation.

GG Jester. Hope to see you 2 more times this year.

Dammit. We had a chance to win, a great chance, but the great QB's find a way to do it. 3rd and 18 to seal the victory, we should have stopped the pass, but failed. Oh well.

Revenge is sweet. We washed that nasty taste of a blowout loss last season out of our system and return the favor. Special teams and a couple fumble recoveries deep in Georgia Territory is the difference.
Our defense continues to give up big plays.
Sanford played his usual good game.
Singleton seems to have caught a fumble bug. He had a bunch in preseason and has 2 more today. I do not like that.

GG Cleveland. I have never seen such good special teams play. They started out at their own 40+ and pinned us in our own 10 almost the entire game.

Like others have mentioned, most of my gameplan was ignored.
Wile E. Cote seems to have decided has was all grown up and ready to carry this team. Apparently we do not need to be as run-heavy this year, as Cote flung it around for only his 2nd 300 yard game of his career (Which, humorously, is tied for 2nd for 'most 300 yard passing' games by a Montreal QB :-D ).

I think RB Osbourne lost his helmet a lot, as his backups were in almost as much as he was :-/
