lol - will have too look at the viewer tomorrow, but judging by the score I bet you do. No injuries of note at least

Bleh, I flailed and didn't set my depth chart or anything. I was gonna hide Donovan to...my own fault.

hehe it wasn't the victory but the way defenders actually consistently made plays. 3 INTs from my top 2 CBs makes me think they might actually matter now!

It's one pre-season game but I was encouraged by the stats, espically since I didn't even set my depth chart, much less a game plan. Wilson ran like a top 5 RB for once. I remember last year he was held to 40yds or less 3-4 games in a row...that's just not realistic. Some teams will have great days against your best players but it seems MOST teams easily stuffed him for losses or next to no gain many many times, even if they didn't gameplan to do that.

I will say I have really taken gameplanning serious in the off season. I was able to institute a D in another league that actually worked. I twist a knob and I see it on the field. This game just got a whole lot more fun. 6.3 seems to really have helped in combination with me committing to figuring out more. I am not saying I know anything, but I will say I can finally understand the D side and see it translate on the field. That is huge for me.

I can not wait for the new season here in the IFL so that I can see if this is really working!!

Well I went with Warthog intended players for the most part but set PT at minimum. third down was key as Fresno did not sustain any drives and could not keep Phantoms off the field. Sloppy game with 7 TOs and 3-4 more chances at fumbles.

Was pleased with progress youngsters made. I tried a tweak on O, can't really say it helped. Probably don't have personnel but I gave it a shot. Might leave it in another week and see what happens.

I vote that we combine Preseason 1 and 2 next offseason! This waiting a week for a preseason game blows! :-D

Well, you were running against backups most of the game, but yea the patch has definitely changed things.

Btw, how sweet was it that Doyle got 2 FG blocks?

Don't get me wrong bro, I'm not boasting over a win or stats or anything. All I am saying is that the patch does seem to have made a direct, more realistic impact on gameplanning and realism. I have NEVER EVER EVER given 2 shits what happens in the pre-season, we all know it may or may not be a sign of things to come. But it was encouraging, at least the initial results.

I think the game fumbles too much
I had 6 this game. In DFL I won a reg season game and the team I beat had 6 fumbles.
I know its a small sample but 6?

Yea, we should start tracking this for Jim if this is a permanent stat increase.

Yep...6 fumbles for our game too...IN THE FIRST HALF! Right now I'm attributing it to first game. Hopefully..it will get better.

Yea I agree, I am liking this patch so far, definitely made the game feel a bit more 'real'
