FOF 6.3 Released - Please update for FA1 export

this is for the in game logos for teams and stuff.

If you're talking about positions and experience, you'll need to have someone like Jester figure out res hacker to update that stuff. I can host the exe file after.

The team nicknames etc are scrambled but I'm assuming that is fixed by putting the .fcy and .fni files into the correct universe folders?

I think so but a restart of FOF might be needed. I had the wrong team names and city names and then after a restart (or perhaps something else I did but I think it was the restart) it was solved.

Last one...Anyone know how to get Resource Patcher working for 6.3?

There's Resource Hacker, which many of us use for FOF. I seem to have uninstalled it at some point though so I haven't gotten to 6.3 with it yet.

Not sure about Resource Patcher though if that's a different application.

Q: Where do I put the next league file when I download it?
A: You need to put it (and all subsequent league files) in the *NEW* \leagues folder than the savegame utility creates. If you're on XP, it may look like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Ben\Application Data\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\ (NOTE: "The Application Data" folder is likely hidden. You need to set Windows Explorer to view hidden files to see it.) If you're in Vista, it may look like this: Users/your_profile_name/AppData. Go to the support page at Solecismic.com for additional information.

Also, in located in the new FOF2007 folder is the export, import, leaguehtml, leagues folders. That's where you will find your export.

Ok,I found it...but why is it there? Is that the permanent home for it now?

Note: There appears to be a new "export" directory with the new set up. I just accidentally uploaded an old export (from the old export directory located in "Program Files/Solecismic....") before realizing that. Watch out for that!

The universe, export and leagues files will now be under your users directory.

For example, mine is under:

c:/users/my name/AppDate/Roaming/SolecismicSoftware/FrontOfficeFootball

Your picture files will remain the the area that they previously were in. You will need to upload your league files into the new directory as well as your exports.

ok...i put the universe files for IFL in the new folder and now it's worse....Still got the wrong nicknames.

I wonder how this will go using a Linux OS? Guess I will find out.

Gonna try and do this on my laptop. I'll be keeping 1 of cpu's on the old version so we can continue to update the league html provided by SkyDog.
