Na, didn't start a new topic to be all dramatic, just wanted to explain myself a little.

I won't be returning to the IFL..I'm not burned out or upset or nothing, I just feel like there's really no point. I was away from the league for a couple seasons, but I have suffered through nearly 100 loses since I joined this league in 2004. While I have had fun, the losing is just making it not so much fun anymore.

No matter what I do with this team, I cannot seem to get a winning season. I'm not even talking playoffs, just a winning season. The bottom line is, I'm just not very good at this and playing out another season, or 10 more seasons isn't going to make me very good at this.
Like someone once said, your either good at this or your not. And I just don't get it.

I wish everyone here good luck and I will be on the forums every week, just not running a team. I believe this is a good team, I really do, but I also believe another owner could do something with Oakland before it's to late. And that owner isn't me.

So I will be running the team until Matt or Sui finds a replacement. I wish everyone here the best of luck and a fond farewell when the season is over!

Darn it! I was hoping we'd get a good rivalry going (especially if I could get the Whales moved to Denver). FWIW, I at least partially understand your frustration - I really haven't got a handle on what things do what in FOF - and I really don't have time to experiment in single-player mode at this point. For example, i really ramped up the running play percentages in my game plan against you 'cause i thought throwing on your CBs would be a likely disaster for Armstrong. While he did throw 2 picks, He ended up throwing 30 times and had a very good percentage. beats me...

I was just saying you look at your team it doesnt have the greatest ratings but you are having a good season. it was suppose to be inspirational for jave.

if you want me to be frank. you are overachieving and reaping the benefits of one of the weakest schedules in the league. you are probably a 1 and done in the playoffs and a 8-8 team next year.

you're right, It's all because of the the weak schedule. Like Tulsa, they have the weakest schedule in the league so they're not really a good team right?

I was thinking I would've a 11-5 season or something like that so I'm doing a little better than I was thinking. But you said that "anything can happen", like it was the craziest thing in the world that I was 12-2. That's just stupid.

As for my roster, my team is getting old, but it's a very talented team. I don't really see a big weakness in this team.

As for your stupid comment for the playoffs. Anyone can beat anyone in the playoffs so it's a possibility. I'm looking forward to this game (if you make the playoffs)

pfft, says the guy who owned our division till about 2012 haha. Your team sucks because your team got old. I still can't figure out why Oakland doesn't win more.

I've accepted my team is rebuilding right now, but I know if I had Oakland's talent, i'd certainly be frustrated.
