Week #10 Discussion

Portland got 7 points off its TO and Warthogs got 0 off theirs. Fresno contained the Seal running game - till the OT when yet another inept punt set Portland up with field position and 2 runs for 50+ yards resulted in a Portland win in Fresno. Fresno was in this game despite tons of drive killing penalties. Schwartz started game 3 for 11 for 30 yds and an INT. Settled down after that and Fresno was leading game throughout much of the second half. Tough loss but team as a whole played better. This is what you get with a young team though.

yet again dissapointed in the loss but happy that team was competitive and played Warthog ball, well mostly - lol

Holy Cow...I watched the end of this one after mine was over. A 63 yard punt with no return...really changed the game.

In other news, Reno appears to be on a bit of a roll. Just have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties.

Oh wow! Good game SLC. Lots of interesting twists to that game...and it went deep into OT. I'm still pissed at the refs for calling offensive pass interference on us deep in the 4Q - that was such a homer call

We have a new dome! If not you'd probably be playing in the 20s or 30s later in the season.

Looking forward to playing Caro. Fields will probably kill the double-team though...

Good game, Suicane. Your defense played great, keeping our scoring to a season low 16. That's pretty amazing considering all you did was punt all day long and our average starting spot was my 38 yard line. We just couldn't consistently keep drives going.

We only completed 2 of 13 medium and long passes and your defense had 7 hurries, which is a season high against us. Not sure if that even occurred last year. Whatever the hell you did, don't do it again!
