To be honest, I never understood summer league. What's the point again? And is your guy gone all year if you send him to summer league? Can he get hurt?

I don't think they can get hurt and they're not gone all year. Allegedly it helps progression in some way. I haven't seen any evidence but figure it can't hurt.
