With quite a few open teams and only 4 days until the Franchise Tag/Summer League stage will there be anything done to protect the non-GM'd teams in the meantime?

HAR - Looks horrible
IWC - Seems fine
LOU - Has a 70 OVR LT about to hit FA. This team is going to be in deep shit either way with only 18 signed players.
POR - 89 OVR 5th year Guard Casey Giles is set to be this season's Toby Torres.
VAN - Not in bad shape.

Were trying hard to get the teams filled. If it comes to it Matt and I will decide wether to make any moves (such as franchising said players) to protect an ownerless team.

i think in years past, the teams that had major players hit FA was when teams were supposed to have owners. i.e. dberner

Really no reason for a midweek during preseason. It's very easy to sign people and not have your active roster/depth charts affected.

Really no reason for a midweek during preseason. It's very easy to sign people and not have your active roster/depth charts affected.

Personally, I'm all for speeding through Training camp. I'm of the opinion that it's a waste of time, for the most part.
