Were on somewhat of a roll here. Would love to keep that up with a strong showing in LA but we know they are going to be another tough game. Here's to Reno and SLC losing again!! Cheers!!

I used to live in Iowa City. It will be sweet to go back and kick the Snipe Hunters nuts in.

Wow, we go into Madison and upset the Demons. Very surprised. I was thinking this would be a big loss for us, but we were able to pull it out. Good game Madison. Harding played one of his best games of the year and our defense got to Devon Taylor five times, which I think was the big difference in the game. Demons got to Harding just once.

Now have a big matchup in Norfolk. If the Beats can pull it out we will go a long way towards our first division crown in many many years. Not really sure what to expect in this matchup. I figured we end up losing one of these three away games during this road trip, but was really hoping it wouldn't be this one. I'm just glad my pass rush has been coming alive lately. I'm going to have to throw everything and the kitchen sink at Norfolk to have a chance in this one.

Thanks for getting it fired off.

Bad day at the office. defense could not stop Iowa City on 3rd down. They were 10/15. Even at the end, when I knew you were running my computer guys knew you were running and still you were ripping runs off.
Disappointing day by both my lines.

WOW! And here I was thinking we were awful. 12 penalties for 102yds including a 58yd pass called back, 2 turnovers and we win by 23. Guess I'm out of the 1.1 sweepstakes.

Best is looking decent at QB (Porcher and he will continue to split starts but as of now he's the starter next season someone trade me a QB ... PLEASE)

Can someone explain to me WTF with penalties? Why in the holy hell does my team commit so many fucking penalties? We are 2nd in the league, only 2 behind Houston with 97. What is causing my team to rip off an average of 10 penalties a game?

                          man. what a painful loss.
at the end of the 1st half we were getting in FG position to go up by 10. Instead..

Newark: Pro formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 with dime personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the pass. Cook is blitzing.
2-3-LOU38 (2Q: 00:23) C.J. Rambo ran around the left tackle for 16 yards. Tackled by S Henry Dockery. Key block delivered by Alan Byrne.
                          Newark called a time out.
1-10-LOU22 (2Q: 00:12) Butch Schulz attempted a 39 yard field goal and it was blocked by Ike Tubbs. LOU Dan Ehret recovered the ball at the LOU22 and returned it 78 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Newark 14, Louisiana 13
(2Q: 00:12) Extra point by Lionel Haggerty was good. Louisiana 14, Newark 14

                          ouch!

then to start the 3rd qtr

                          Start of third quarter.
(3Q: 15:00) Lionel Haggerty kicked off 64 yards from the LOU30. Craig Hampton returned the ball 27 yards to the NWK33. Tackled by Zach Marek. Ball was fumbled and recovered by LOU Zach Marek on the NWK33.

Man I am getting so disgusted with this game. Not to take away from Houston for kicking the crap out of us, but we should not be this bad. Our QB put up a 27 rating. Well at least it is Father's day. Maybe I can go get drunk.
