    haha

Thanks for the kind words but I just got two victories in the absolute narrowest of fashion: overtime and a 1 point victory.

The IFL has had many teams in my current position and usually it doesn't work out in the end. I expect someone will turn it on come playoff time and surprise most of us. Hopefully the road to the IFL Bowl goes through Lawrence but I fear someone will come into my house and punch me in the mouth.

Murf is playing some chin music on the league's 2nd toughest schedule to the tune of 6-1 so far and will no doubt be burning the midnight oil on post-season gameplanning. Newark is always solid and looks to be playoff bound this season. Tigerhawks will gell any week now. All that new QB in Cleveland can do is win.

This post-season will be very exciting me thinks!

I'm scoring like crazy this season but my defense (sans Shinkle) can't stop anybody. Funny thing is last season I kept telling myself there was NO WAY just adding Shinkle put this defense on top -- but my defense has been 'soft' since he injured that hamstring

Man. You lose your 3 best Defensive starters and your team somehow plays like shit... ;-)

Frustrating game, but well played and executed by Lou.

The really odd part was that my shitty D made them run about 600 plays, not once did we get a 'familiar message'. Our Offense ran like 20, and got 'familiar'.

        I hate this fuckin game.

Wow I won, despite my defense completely absent for the first half. IWC was 10/12 on 3rd downs at one point.

It's comical how I only had 3 penalties today and 4 last week. So I go from like 10 penalties a game to 3 and 4? No, the game isn't too random.

On the bright side, my rookie QB played well and definitely earned the right to start a few more games. I've had just about enough of Rex's inconsistent play.

What a strange game indeed. Whatever you can do...I can do better. It came down to the last two drives...I was shocked when I got a much needed sack on the last drive, since neither of us could stop each other all day long.

And I think that 47 yarder at the end is a career best for him.

GG SLC...not looking forward to playing at your place next time.

GG Sui, Hutton to Groff made my CB Johnstone look like the rookie he is. Seemed like every time my D had a chance to force a punt those 2 made something happen. My defense was the recipient of a lot of good karma recently so we probably deserved this.

3-5 and 0-3 in the division. I wanna play MUR straight up as a gauge of how far we have to go but after that I'm gonna get creative.

Yeah, the Iowa defense turned a 30 rated rookie QB into an all-star in the space of one half. And by way of OAK above, the rookie feasted on throwing into double coverage.

Also blew a 21-6 halftime lead.

I am surprised we won let alone scored 41 to win. GG Vermont. Mueller was sharp and the O line protected him well. Emmons and Connell ran well too. It is nice to go to 4-3 and get the divisional win.

That QB of yours is going to be great, but my pass defense has a habit of making every QB look great.
gg Kozure. VW had the ball at the Hero 38 down by 4 with 1:18 left in game. If game was in WV I am sure it would have went the other way. For whatever reason the Hero D has been better, still bad, but better the last few games. I think the California +2 TO ratio was key to the game. California created the chance for the win by not turning the ball over.

LT Fulcher was being abused in the pass game, might have to put Alcott and his sore ribs back into the lineup.

California is done with roster moves unless there is IR reasons. Cohesion is absoutly crushed but at least the 53 guys on the team are some sembelence of the guys I want on the team.

                        Now for the good news:

We had em for a half. Lead 30-13 on one of the toughest teams in the league. Donovan was on top of his game: 20/27 251yards 4 touchdowns ZERO picks.
Wilson had another 100yard rushing game doing his best to grind the clock down with a power rushing attack that just did fall short. "Nightmare" managed to play an entire game and not get injuried and was doing his best to stop the almost 500 yard passing game by Stanfield and Saftey De Marco read Stanfield all day to the tune of 3 interceptions.

We still cannot manage to get any pressure on any quarterback in the league. It's just something I'm going to have to address in the offseason but my defense showed signs of life this week, it's just to bad this loss all but guarantees the end of our season. With 7 losses already the playoffs are but a distant memory and it's all about playing for pride and trying to spoil the playoff chances of anyone we meet.

I still say this game is weighted to heavly twords a passing attack. When you can throw into a defense expecting the pass and double teaming your receivers three quarters of the game and have massive success, something is wrong. But that's not taking away from Jesters victory. He's the best team in the league for a reason and props to you Jester. You beat us fair and square and deserve the victory!

This game is hilarious so far.

First 5 possessions of game for both teams:
                              ANC - INT
BOS - In red zone, sack, sack, Blocked FG
                              ANC - Fumble
                              BOS - INT
                              ANC - Blocked FG
