  • Tell Us About Your Team

As the season dawns lets us all share our hopes and dreams for the upcoming season shall we?

Me, I am in semi rebuilding mode, meaning that I am not dealing draft picks anymore and am willing to move anyone with value. That being said I have signed some veterans and am in no way counting the season out.

Not yet being able to get what I believe is value for Olin Holst or McMurray (clearly they're worth more to me than to others) I always think I have a shot in any given game.

I think my Offense can be as good as it's usualy been despite the loss of Zachary Hall.

My defense is likely to be horrid as my line and secondary are pretty dreadfull but I'll go into each week knowing that i'll be in a shootout and just hope to pull out more than I lose.

I can see my team winning anywhere from 6 games if all is equal or 10 games if i get alot of breaks. Gonna be an intriguing season for the Cardinals.

So what say you of your squad hmmm?
    I luv British womenz.

I took over the team last season. Overall the team was 5-11, I was something like 2-7. I never got a feel for the team last year, especially the offense. So my number one goal is to find the right gameplan for the offense this season.

Sammy Mathews is still at QB. He's still got good ratings but is at risk of falling apart as a 10 year veteran. I'm hoping for a few more seasons of good play from him. The team had one decent WR last season in Archie Shapiro but you really need at least two. So the team traded a quality safety to get another receiver, Reuben Caffrey. Caffrey is highly rated but is also a 10 year vet. Donald Ozguner at RB is really coming along in his second year. He had 955 yards last season and I expect much bigger production from him this season. The rest of the offense is OK but nothing special, a few good linemen.

The defense is a mystery. There are some decent players at CB, DE, and LB. The two veteran DTs dropped about a hundred points in TC, so I'm concerned about them. The rest of the defense is a mixture of veterans and younger players, so it's anybody's guess as to how they will play.

Right now I'd be happy with a .500 season. If I get a handle on the offense, the team could be better than that. If the offense sucks, we'll be looking at a very high first round draft pick in 2015.

I think we will go as far as Mueller can take us. I believe two years ago he turned the corner and last year before his season ending injury he was on fire. This should be the season we can compete and hopefully get around the 10 win threshold.

I think our defense is solid with a few holes. We should be a lot better rushing the passer as our star rookie DE is now a second year player and that much better. We got a lot older at LB but we brought in a star SS in Hovis so that will help. At corner 2nd year man Brees is average to good and we will struggle at the second corner spot but I am hoping a little more pressure from the front 4 with Torres and the gang and a solid group of safeties will help that area.

Our biggest worry will be our aging O line. It is basically built on 3rd rounders and below. Journeymen and overacheivers. I would like to get a star there someday, but we just have had too many other holes. This is the year for our two 3rd year wideouts to come into their own and the last days of Connell as a running back.

            Come on wildcard!!

I'm ready for another 11-5 non playoffs season. I have the pleasure to have Lansing and Madison in my division so it's gonna be really tough again this year.

My dline is getting older so I added DE Boyle in the offseason so it should help a lot. We also add another receiver that could help our QB. I still don't know which QB yet. I'm not sure Mann will get the starting job.

I'm still pissed that my #1 DT dropped 17 points during camp. With this drop I had to switch to a 3-4 and I'm not sure my team is suited for this scheme.

My window is closing very fast with RB Kruse getting older so something needs to happen this year.

We were one of the highest scoring teams in the league last year without really having any real weapons at the WR position. The problem was on defense and we hope with the changes we made that we will improve greatly in that area.

Our offseason focus was on defense. We have switched to a 3-4 this year. We feel with the additions of Kim Cortez and Lester Butler it made sense to make that switch. We feel we may just have the best starting LB core in the IFL now. We are hoping that Butler, Cortez, Adam "Horse" Kollars and Brian Fulcher will unleash hell on opposing offenses.

In the secondary, we added ball hawk CB Lenny Wicker via trade from Dakota to start opposite Neal Ferguson. We think Lenny is better player then most think and were glad to have him. We moved CB Lionel Howland to SS where we fill he will be a better player for us in the long run.

On the DL, we acquired DE Keith Montgomery from Dakota as well. He led the league with 13.5 sacks last year. We desperately needed help in the pass rushing dept. and were happy to have him aboard.

Were hoping with a re-tooled defense that the Demons can get back to the playoffs and make some noise in a real competitive NC Conference.

Reno is clearly rebuilding, and actually going the wrong direction. This off-season really hurt us, losing a number of players that should have went to renegotiations before hitting the market. The loss of draft picks this season led to overpaying free agents just to fill gaps. Though McNeil is a good backup to Collela, we aren't high on him as the future of Reno. Don't rule out the possibility of almost everyone including Castillo to hit the market if the Wolfpack can't pull out wins by week 6. Projection 3-5 wins.

The Stallions are on the rise; if the preseason shows me I finally got Gomez a QB, I'll be very happy.

For my old offense to return to greatness, I needed a RB like Tart but I've not been lucky enough to acquire that type of talent at the position. You can't replace greatness with scrubs!

That being said, SLC is grounded no more!!! Yes, we will still run the ball but teams better recognize that we fully intend to score alot of points this season and I'll be god-damned if I don't have some nice receiving options for the new kid

On defense, we run the 3-4 and we've returned to doing it well. Led the league in pressuring the QB last year. The unit kept us in most games; dominated at times in games Dewitt had to BONE JESUS to lose...and he f'cking did!!! If this QB can give this defense a lead, I might be able to get past the first round of the playoffs

I hope to win the championship.

Offense is the same with the exception of LT where Carlton Wilkins takes over for retired Tony Esqueda. Esqueda should have been the legend of the game.

Defensively we added 2 very good DEs in Johnnie Basile and Jeremy Ellison. The big addition is SS Walter Fitzgerald. My defense will go as he goes.

I cant wait for the season to start. I have a very tough schedule. I believe we will be 10-6 and win the WC.

That will be damn impressive after looking at your roster before our game tomorrow.

I wouldn't be shocked though if it happens since you rocked the league a few seasons back with no OLine.
