Granny Al turned Harvey "whirlpool" Williams from a scatback RB to a TE and ammazingly whirlpool decided to retire rather than finish his contract with the Raiders. I always thought HW would be good in the NFL, I never imagined him blocking DEs and OLBs for a living.
Yeah, you already got away with turning a stud CB into a 24/24 CB.
Haha. Yes we did. Of course with him we just tried a new black market steroid instead of actually switching positions. Who knew it would give me the strength of a 12 year old girl. Frickin' Bailey busting still kills me.
No I am looking to move my rookie DT to a speed rushing DE. He looks pretty suited for that.

I wish that the random booms and busts would either be removed from the game or increased dramatically in number of players. There's nothing good for the competitive environment that you got shot in the foot with Bailey and West Virginia saw Harding go down 30 points or so. If it happened to all of us more often then it would balance out. As is it just selects a very few teams and says "I'm gonna dramatically decrease your chances and dramatically increase yours".
And I'm assuming you're talking about Roosevelt Peterson here without looking at the game. I was gonna PM you on that one. He is sized for DE but his combine, while good for a DT, was slow for a DE. It'll be interesting to see if he transitions well.
yeah i don't like boom/busts either. it's not even implemented well in the game to match real life. with all the of professional 24/7 scouting these days no player picked in the first round is a question mark. people just don't have a cannon in college and all of a sudden after their first training camp can't throw the ball farther than their cunt hairs. you might wanna say "Ryan Leaf!" but he didn't lose his ability, he was wrong place and wrong time. that's really why someone busts. not good enough coaching - Joey Harrington. thrust into the game too soon - Akili Smith/Cade McNown. their backup is too good to be benched - Matt Leinhart. losing environment - LaMarcus Russell. too many coaching changes - Alex Smith. these guys can throw the ball better than any of us if we were gonna have a pickup game. they still got it - shit even Kordell Stewart was ridiculous on "Joes v. Pros". so its not realistic to have players "lose their ratings or ability". it doesn't happen. it happens to old veterans, but then you'd think the mental aspect of the game increases. what happened to Harding wouldn't ever happen in real life. in real life scouts just don't say "well, i guess we were wrong about him, he's not a very accurate QB after all" or "shit, we were fooled. he really isn't good in a two minute type offense and doesn't scramble as much when we scouted him a couple months ago".

Ya the Bailey bust really screwed us up. He was a 3rd overall too. I cant even cut the guy do to the cap hit. Bastard.
Peterson will be interesting. Right after I mentioned moving him I saw his 5.03 40 time.
I still think we will give it a shot. I need another DE to play opposite last years rookie. We will see what the rest of the draft brings too.
