Oh ye of little faith. Listen guys, slowly but surely we are implementing stuff to curb long waits. I can be here all day saturday and sunday, so can you guys, but some guys cant. Realisticly it was like a 6 hour wait on an untimed Sunday, is it really that frustrating?

No, i'm not frustrated about today, shit my next pick is in the 3rd round so I don't expect much regardless. I just see it every year, and each time it gets brought up by people in frustration (a few times by me in the past). The problem is, we bitch about it during the draft for a few days, then when the draft ends it's pretty much forgotten until the next draft.

I can agree with the frustration... Been there done that... I for one am one of those that likes shorter times. But in defense of the league, I have also seen it be to short and we lose GMs because of it...

I have been on both sides I guess. One where it went faster then expected and alot of owners complained and ones where it took to long and again alot of owners complain.

Again I do not think we will please everyone...

But I do agree I would like to see this looked at deeper then just during the draft... But I think Matt and Sui have a solid plan in place.

This is simply not true. I've reduced time limits across the board, i've added the 50% reduction. I am doing things to alleviate the problems. Next year the "not registered, auto pick on" rule will go into effect as well as the end of this untimed stuff. I can't coral 32 people or snap my fingers and make people show up and pick.

Phantoms select what will hopefully be our starting safety of the future in Monty Wollmuth after we approach him about the position change and see how he feels about it. It's tough to reach for a player this high in the draft but unless you want QB or DE things are tough at the current slots.

I didn't think my guy would make it to #26 prompting me to trade with Anchorage. Little Rock is one of the teams I feared would grab him and didn't with choice #1. Three slots left or I made a bad trade.
