2014 Draft thread(Round 1)
Figured someone should start it.
Ok, I'm going to set my list, but have it turned off. I want to make my picks manually. However, if something freak happens like the power going out or losing my cable connection, a mod can just make my picks if I have not logged on by a half hour after the start of the draft.
HA...you ready? haha

why not? LOL that'd be a waste of a nickname. but yeah it's gonna be him. i'll be the one to roll the dice. its realy a coin flip between him and Cote and since Schwartz has all 100 ratings might as well shoot for the stars. i may crash and burn but at least i tried. just gotta cross my fingers and hope his low volatility and his position score at the draft (ranked highest at 95) are what keep him from being a bust.
this is what every GM dreams about. being able to have the first overall pick and using it to draft a stud franchise QB and keep him his entire career and hopefully win a championship or two along the way.

Yea, it's pretty fucking cool actually. I remember drafting Hamilton. 3/4 of my team was rookies or 2nd year players when we started this league and while it took 3 years before he was worth a shit, it's fucking great to see him take over some of the All Time records.
Sometimes ya just gotta roll and see what happens. I agree with ya. With the way 07' handles drafts(serious lack of talent) we may not see another Schwartz for a decade. If you don't draft him I will. haha

Where is the draft link?
Yeah its been fun watching Sanford develop. Now that he is matched up with the best skill players in the league for the next 8 seasons, Im hoping to bring a trophy or 2 to Tulsa.
I hope he (Schwartz) plays to his ratings. In FFL, Vince Young was a 95 rated QB. Never won much though.

I don't think I could pull the trigger on either QB and let the others (I consider Maloney a potential stud as well) sit on the board. It's good for HA that he's confident in his pick so early, assuming he really is.
