I ran 46 times and ran 21 passing plays thats 66:33 so excuse you on my last game. and i have NEVER tampered with the GAME PLAN ADJUSTMENTS and being down or up certain points. NOT ONCE SINCE IVE TAKEN OVER THIS TEAM. BUT DONT WORRY I DID THIS WEEK I CLEARED THE ADJUSTMENTS CHART THAT THE LAST OWNER MADE OUT AND HAD THE COMPUTER RECOMEND IT. You are a Joke to sit here and accuse me of playing for draft picks. a JOKE

and I may have done that shit in another league? no I played 2 seasons in USFL and turned a Losin Atlanta Franchise into a team that went to the walker bowl in the very next year. Seriously your nothing but a joke. a JOKE YEAH I TRIED TO GET AWAY WITH SOMETHING. What kind of children play this game.

Also to further my claim about how I have never touched the Adjustments screen just the down and distance screen. The Previous owner stated that he had fiddled with it to run more in the adjustments. So again. Take your childish accusations of trying to play for draft picks like 1 player is going to turn this franchise around and shove them please. I think FA this offseason is going to be way more important for the dakota franchise and their TONS of cap room they will have available anyways. I am not playing for draft picks your just crying like a baby and Im not likeing how you can sit there and call me a cheater and you dont even know what your on about.

I say we penalize him by letting him tank(j/k i don't know if you are tanking and care less) and let Hell Atlantic draft for him. The double whammy of bad picks and high pick salaries will cripple his franchise for years.

who says i've made bad picks? everything i've touched has panned out:

            1. my uber Safety Shapiro just nabbed 2 ints this past game. he's gonna pan out and develop into a 75, 76 rated overall safety.

            2. my TE Juan McElroy blossomed from having a 71 overall potential to a 75 current overall rating.

            3. RB Ohhhh Snap!!! Chapman has fully developed all his bars. if you've been following his career he has increased his rushing td's every year. real bad pick here!

            4. #6 overall pick Russ Winslett is well on his way to developing all his bars and being one of the best at his position. i haven't compared him to other Guards yet, but i know from looking at his stats he's given up hardly any sacks this year.

            5. Chuck Morris developed into the best kicker in the league. took him in the 5th round and he went from being rated in the high 80's in potential overall to being rated i think 96 in current overall.

            6. Nathan Mullin. 'nuff said.

don't you worry about sweet Hell Atlantic's draft resume. i may not win any gameplan of the year awards but if this was real life i'd be the Ron Wolf of the league, highly coveted for having a knack for finding players who 1. don't bust and 2. either realize their potential or in most cases exceed them.

name one guy you've drafted that people can oooo and ahhhh about? what household names have you drafted yourself or does riding Caro's coattails means you don't have to get off your ass and actually work in this league?

i swear, for the last 4, maybe seasons the only players i've known from the Seals have been Caro and Dominic Field. certainly agrees with jeff's theory that all you need to be successful in FOF is to have a great QB and WR. JMO certainly hasn't shown the desire to disprove that theory.

Ah the whine has returned. So I take it you are against my idea? I thought it would be something for you to do before the inevitable fail and the 'im leaving/please beg me to stay' thread.

Ron Wolf drafted alot of great players. I'm not sure he ever took a guard over stud D linemen at the top of the first.

It's probably harder when you are drafting at the end of the round rather than the top. I'd say Adamov, Giles(drafted exactly one round after your G) and Craig were all great picks.

My first year I had no first rounder but both years I'm very happy with my drafts. I got alot of combine creepers with my top 5 picks this year all creeping to some extent.

I also love that your top picks include a kicker, a guard, a tight end and an rb. All positions where people routinely draft starters in the lower rounds.

People say this, but is it really true? I think this is really overblown. And if it is true, why havn't you been trading all those firsts for a stud QB in draft or thru trade? If you understand this so well, why do you still have a below average QB?

I'm sure someone who was rebuilding would have traded you a better QB for 3 of those firsts. If you are sure that is all you need, not getting that QB in a league so rich in them, represents that you do indeed suck at this game. and life.

Hell Atlantic already traded for a stud QB and still failed to make the playoffs. Egg on your face, Mr.!!

What I think in funny about this is how Jave and HA have teamed up. Who woulda thunk that?
If this was early December of 2012 I would REALLY be worried.

the TE i drafted was in the 2nd round. contrast that w/ the TE's that were drafted in the late 1st round of last season's draft. i win.

there were no stud D-lineman available at #6, at least no one i'd want to invest big money on. i want lifelong starters with my 1st round picks, not guys who are "good" and play an important position. that's what free agency is for. i can pick up "solid" guys who are already developed and not give them huge contracts. guard may not be the most sexy of picks but o-line is certainly one of the most important aspects of the game. if i didn't pick him someone else in the 1st round surely would. and that pick was applauded by the league so that confirmed someone was gonna take him soon. and taking a guard means i'll be able to afford him his entire career. thats how you build teams. in 5 years once all the old stars are all out the Heroes will be well positioned to compete, having a killer o-line. yeah, some guys will be drafted higher than they should, but sometimes you gotta reach to get the players you need so you don't risk missing out on that guy. i could've traded down but there's no telling who would've been available.

my "below average QB" has stats comparable to yours. factoring in we play different offenses (you pass heavy, my team implementing the run more) i'm getting my money's worth out of Sante and you're barely treading water at first in the division with Caro, the best QB in the game. contrast that with the jeff-run Seals - his teams would've had the division locked up by now. who's the doofus now? :shithappens:
