Week #12 Discussion

Offense has really started clicking recently, which is good because we really can't stop teams passing. It's all relative I suppose though, as we can stop them slightly more than before. Hopefully we keep imcrementally improving there.

We escape Iowa City with a 'W'.

No kidding. You guys were up 31-10 and let Iowa back in by giving up three TDs. But the good teams find a way to win, this time with a FG with seconds left in the game.

We escape Iowa City with a 'W'. We become the 4th team to run the gauntlet in the IFL.

Normally, sitting at 9-2 i would feel rather good at our chances of going to the playoffs. Talk about pressure, we have Lansing and Penn just one game back at 8-3 in our own division. Then you have Texas and Tulsa at 9-2 in their division. The two Wild Card teams in the NC this year might have better records then the #1 seed in the AC. Go figure....

Quite possible that two teams with 11 wins might not make the playoffs in the NC.

Our next two games are @ home as they must be considered MUST wins. Our last 3 are on the road and that could hurt us.

I'm going to ruin your day because I have nothing else to play for and kicking you in the groin will make my year.............

My game plan was for shit, the penalties were for shit, the f'kn influenza was for shit, Given was on fire, your D had my number and again I am left scratching my ass trying to figure out how to beat the only team that has never allowed a Viper victory.
Good game, as usual. Thank God I only play you once every milennium.

Ouch we played like shit. Good game Jester. I wanted to pass more but not by that much. hahaha good grief we threw the ball over 50 times. Now we are going to get rocked by Norfolk.

Finally our defense showed up!!! This is what I think we have been capable of doing all year long, but it took until the 12th week of the season to do it. And the fact that we did it against Texas is all the sweeter.

We decided to give up on the 3-4 defense, going with the 4-3. This is the second game in the 4-3, but we made a couple defensive changes and we just exploded. We'll find out Sunday if this defense is for real or if this game was just a fluke.

Good game Texas. Good luck the rest of the year.

Very good game for your defense. I'd stick with that change. I could tell from the start that you were going to beat me up. Hopefully Texas can rebound against Lansing.
