being as how I assumed there would be a week off, I am away on vacation winout a laptop and will miss allthe hiring periods and whatnot. Not pleased and really surprised. I know I'm just one guy, but this kinda just tanks the season for me.

I don't think missing the hiring period really screws you, it's not the most important thing in the world. Also, if you have instructions perhaps you can get the commishes to help you out, or if get someone you know to fill in for you....My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt. -

I'm away as we speak. I can't check my roster stars coaches, etc. I will probably not be home till late Sunday, so I have no idea who to camp, set tickets as, etc. I was really hopingto change scouts and maybe coaches as my scout no longer suits my needs for this upcoming draft. I know one person can't hold everything up, but I really feel at a disadvantage. I didn't bring my laptop because of aesthetics and because I thought that when I was on the waiting list last year I could have sworn there was at least a week in between seasons. I really appreciate the offers of help, but I really don't see how anyone could help me take care of these stages when I have no stats availble for staff and players, no clue what scouts are out there, how much my owner would allow me to spend and no computer to speak of.Comment

I missed the entire draft one year because I was on vacation. George W. was a great help. I understand not having total control, but there are guys around that have years of experience that could help out in a pinch.
