i'm not a good gameplanner, but GM-wise - assembling a team - i'm better than rook. what QB has he had to go out and draft/trade/aquire since being in this league? none. he's had Lozier from the beginning. in fact, his whole team is old (by his own admission too) because he had such a great inaugural draft he's had to do nothing but keep resigning the players he initially aquired. that's not being a GM. Lathum was a FA that anyone could've signed and probably stashed as a 3rd QB on the depth chart. there aren't many GMs who would've named Lathum the starter. do you see the stats he's putting up? its not even funny. the guy's ratings are clearly masked, cuz sub-50 rated QBs don't put up stats like that. i would love to see rook cut off the Lozier umbilical cord and man up. then again, there's no need for him to do so since no one else in that division wants to win. yeah, Hartford has a ring, but historically (and i looked this up) they haven't been much of a factor in that division. and after the ring, they've resumed their normal place towards the bottom of that division. NFK has won the division several years in a row now, and after every win he'll give his "i stole that game from you, you guys were clearly better" routine. he knows its only a matter of time till the wheels comes off. i hope he's enjoying it.
you people don't even understand the transformation the Heroes are going under. in the next 2 years we gave a TON of 1st and 2nd round picks, those guys are gonna be the backbone of this team. so while all you people who are still riding the coattails of players you drafted in 2003 start to see your boyz retire or fall off one by one, that's when the Heroes are gonna pounce.

is he really that good? he seems to have wild swings from game to game.Lathum was a FA that anyone could've signed and probably stashed as a 3rd QB on the depth chart. there aren't many GMs who would've named Lathum the starter. do you see the stats he's putting up? its not even funny. the guy's ratings are clearly masked, cuz sub-50 rated QBs don't put up stats like that

HA may just be suffering from slight jealousy.
HA has done what he could to try and bring some winningness to Cali. He's made moves to try and bring the Zeroes to an elite team. r00k is a classy guy all the way around, and I hope that he can live with being the victim of a Hell Atlanticism rant. I think HA feels frustrated being in the same division as Portland, LA, and Anchorage. At first glance, it appears that NFK's division mates have struggled to be .500 teams and thus making it look like NFK has had a cakewalk every year. That said, I've been here since the beginning and I know that just has not been the case. NFK is this league's premier team, and r00k is one of this leagues premier GM's.

I'm thinking he is just trying to create controversy because no one can possibly be this stupid. i'm sorry, i can't hear you, all the players that you weren't responsible for putting on the team are distracting me. maybe you can talk to me after you've had to build the team yourself and are responsible for your own success and not riding the coattails of what the previous GM did for the team.

you *do* realize my QB is performing light years better than the piece of shit QB you have on your team, you know, the one you traded Hamilton for because instead of having 5 years of elite performance from Hamilton you'd rather have 12 years of mediocrity, at best, from Donovan. great move.Originally posted by Jave View PostI'm thinking he is just trying to create controversy because no one can possibly be this stupid. What does my quarterback have to do with your stupidly? The two are unrelated and every time you open your mouth your prove my point.Originally posted by Hell Atlantic View Postyou *do* realize my QB is performing light years better than the piece of shit QB you have on your team, you know, the one you traded Hamilton for because instead of having 5 years of elite performance from Hamilton you'd rather have 12 years of mediocrity, at best, from Donovan. great move.

So r00k's a bad gamepanner because he wins with the same players he selected and therefore he's a bad gameplanner, HA loses with the players he acquires then trades them for more players which he loses with and is claiming credit for a possible random boom that might only be in his head for a QB who isn't in 1st place and is therefore HA is the better gameplanner?
Fact: r00k's pricey pickup of Brenton Palmieri was one of the best moves of the off-season, the shit end of the stick being felt harshly by myself.
Fact: r00k's gone to the AC Championship an insane % of the time. Your division doesn't get you that far. And you can't discount Warhammer's ring like you'd like to.
I'm close to pulling a Jeff and switching over to Windows to open FOF and giving a rundown of great GM moves by r00k involving players post-2003.
