This playoff season has been brutal.

Heart breaker for Texas ... Lawrence still standing in shock

Hard-to-take loss for Portland ... Wichita keeps finding its way

Dakota loses Taylor ... Reno takes advantage in the 4th quarter with an amazing D and points on the Board.

Already commented on the StL-Nfk game earlier.

Next week's conference championship finds more incredible drama:

Reno travels to Lawrence: the two top seeds in the conference do battle.

Norfolk travels to Wichita: both were wild card seeds, both now advancing to face off.

Both games have great football weather predicted. Three teams take significant injuries:
Lawrence loses LT Jason Dube; Norfolk loses ILB Chris Fiscus; Wichita loses S Brian Williams.
Reno gets a pass on more injuries.

Good game, Don. The Seals are bounced early for the 3rd straight season.

Well done to the winners. Close one for Texas, and Dakota will be saying "what if?" for a while....

I feel horribly for you, TimG. You played a great game. I've never felt so offensively stymied with such great field position! Congrats on your first play-off run.

RB Pozy is looking for a new home next year. The game itself was a great game for both teams. Good luck the rest of the way.

Wow...I'm shaking as I write this. We had numerous chances to put this one away, and can only wonder how DT might have protected our lead a little better. No right for a rookie to be throwing that much late in the game.

Oh..and how about Collela...that guys overpaid : ) ....Thanks California...I'm going to the Imperial Bowl!

BTW...good game Reno. I thought we had a good chance against you, and then when we were up late I started to get excited...good luck against Lawrence.

it was a tough game...we both had some turnover at critical points...maybe it was the rain...maybe FOF AI just thought it owed me one...

i was really worried when you took the ball late...

he is overpaid. with that salary he should be among the top 3 QBs in the league in every QB-category. he took Reno this far, which is great, but his salary only goes up after this point, as does his age. he did have a phenominal year, i can only imagine what-if had we kept him. not like i was actively trying to get rid of him, some things didn't shake my way with regards to negotiating his contract and our league laws. i've made peace with my decision. i'm just happy i was allowed to be released from that contract, Collela just finished year 1 of his 2 year window to be able to play up to his contract.

typical result for Portland. this was their year, with the Heroes and Lynx vying for the top spot next season this was Portland's best chance of winning, with Caro, Kruse and WR Dominic Fields as their big 3. i still don't know anyone on Wichita, but i knew they'd win regardless. i'm pissed cuz i really feel NFK has no business winning these big games, excellent gameplanning aside. i really wanted St. Louis to win, but worst case scenario Portland/NFK matchup to give NFK a run for their money. i think NFK is gonna steamroll over Witchita now, being the more playoff experienced team. congrats to rook for going to the IFL bowl yet again. i'm not even trying to jinx you, i'm just saying you going to the IFL Bowl is a foregone conclusion.

There is one man in NFK that refuses to let them lose. That man is Lozier.

u dont know anyone because its a team effort...solid defensive performance from multiple players and the offense chips in as a collective whole...
