talk about a frustrating game to watch. Every time Burger dropped back to pass, he was under pressure. Every time Norfolk ran the ball, their RB's "broke tackles and continued". Every time my Kicker kicked, he missed. Albeit 2 were very long tries. The game was close for the better part of 3 and 1/4 quarters. you've got a great team there, as always. Congrats on the win.
We lose Schaeffer to injury for our big showdown as well.

I knew going into this game that it only made a difference if Lawrence lost. I knew that wouldn't happen. So big stakes game in week 17 against our rival, for the NC East title, and a first round bye. oooohhh aahhhhhh

thanks ... for the last several games, I have finally found some magic in the adjustments that I have made to the game plans that I was using in the beginning of the season. & liking what I see very much. Good luck to you in the big match up next week & Jester, I expect a thank you.

Also, I finally win against you and now there is only one team left to defeat in order to have a win over every team. Dang those Toads!

Thank you r00k! I easily accept trading the title of league's best scoring defense for a Newark loss this week.

Next week's game against the Bulldogs could be the biggest regular season game in IFL history! The winner hosts the NC road to the Bowl and the loser gets a wild card spot!

Arnold "Shake" Greene has really turned it on lately and hopefully will continue to shed his rookie status as we head into the play-offs without our starting LT.

Our streak of playing well comes crashing to a halt as we get shutout by Orlando. I hate FOF end of game logic. 3rd & 2 and at our own 45 we throw a bomb. HELLO!!! We still have over a minute left and need a first down to keep going.

Hey that game should have been 12-0. Damn kickers. I really didnt think that game would go that way. Weird.

Thanks to Georgia, Pittsburgh, and Vermont losses the Toads have locked up a playoff spot with our win over the VooDoo.

Leon Penberthy, unsigned rookie FA number two running back superstar has a three touchdown day for the second week in a row. That gives him six TDs in two weeks, and ten for the season.

Texas coming up, and for the division title. Would be nice to get our 3rd straight division title, but for today I am just happy to be in the playoffs after the crappy start.

                Congrats, Cringer!

Portland has a good shot at scoring 500 points for the season needing 31 against LA in the finale to do so.

Here is Tulsa's game winning drive:

1-10-TUL33 (4Q: 02:21) Matt Sanford pass completed to WR Ralph Donovan for 15 yards. Tackled by CB Jose Mangum, assisted by S Kris Benton. Donovan gained 2 yards after the catch.
Official time out for the two-minute warning.
1-10-TUL48 (4Q: 02:00) Matt Sanford pass completed to RB DH Singleton for 14 yards. Tackled by S Tony Dorsett. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
1-10-MUR38 (4Q: 01:38) Matt Sanford pass completed to WR Shane Jamison for 16 yards. Tackled by S Kris Benton, assisted by CB Jose Mangum. Jamison gained 3 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
1-10-MUR22 (4Q: 01:20) Matt Sanford pass completed to WR Roman Bronson for 22 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! The quarterback threw away from the double coverage. Tulsa 23, Murfreesboro 17
(4Q: 01:20) Extra point by Danny Alexander was good. Tulsa 24, Murfreesboro 17

Sanford really came thru in the clutch with this drive.

We have Georgia at home next week. I would love to end the season on a 3 game win streak.

Oh believe me, this is doable.

I'm really happy with my rookie class this year. Doss and Nordland in the backfield have been decent and should be better in another year. Coghill and Sims in my secondary are playing pretty well lately. I can't remember a draft class I've been happier with in recent memory.

                      Thanks.

To add to Portland's scoring, I just looked and only 10 teams scored over 300 points in the 2003 season, while this year there will be only 6-8 teams who score under 300 points for the season. Oh how times have changed....

Texas made it a pretty close one at the end, but we held strong and pulled this off.

Dakota takes a beating but clinches the NC North division with Portland's overtime win against Pittsburgh. To tell you the truth, I switched the game on Solevision and didn't even watch the end of my game. Pittsburgh played tough but fumbled away their season at the end.

DAKOTA MAKES THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THE FRANCHISE.

So...Does Devon Taylor play with a very outside chance of stealing a bye week from Reno?
