Thank you "Police Chief" Wiggins for your second punt return this year and 4th in your 3 years. And thank you defensive front for getting pressure this week and helping the team in a big way. My d-line was knocking down passes and hitting the QB.

Tough one BOSS, I was holding on as best as I could at the end. Special teams would help both of us and then hurt both of us. It seemed like I couldn't stop you on kickoffs, but pinned you down on punts a couple times and made you fumble a punt. We both had missed FGs.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Such a huge game/win for us. I'm so pumped right now, but was nervous as hell watching this game. It came right down to the end, as per the usual. Crespo vs. The Leash may have lost some luster, but it was still a nice matchup. The true gem in this one was the play of Dwight Burger. He somehow won the ingame player of the week.

Helluva game Jester. We'll see you in week #17, with most likely major playoff implications.

Dwight should get a new nickname. If you have heard of the punk band The Vandals, then perhaps you have heard of the song 'Anarchy Burger (Hold the Government).'

I think of Dwight as 'Anarchy' Burger, but I have heard that song for 18 years or so now and it's funny to me. Probably not as good as King is to others.....

Well, I fielded a backup QB and Andy Crawford has his best game of the season. Passrush and pass defense in general showed up big time but the opposing offense was partly to blame. Kevin Gentile has a monster game, 2 INTs, 1 hurry, 4 tackles and 2 PDs.. pretty decent for an average rated MLB ;-)

Reeg and Doyle continue to prove they're a tandem for the future. No ill effects of Reeg's red flag so far, but instead he has 4.5 sacks and 12 hurries for the season, not bad for a rookie.

For a while I thought my offense wouldn't show up and SLC connected early so I was afraid the pass defense wasn't the same without Lake, but I was proven wrong.

            BOOOOOM!!!!

That's the sound of the West Virginia Beasts breaking the .500 barrier. Finally, after so many terrible seasons, we are finally over that hump. I guess it's all downhill from here.

Hardford, you guys could have easily won this game. We pulled away simply because the Beasts defense is becoming one of the most opportunistic defenses in the league. We were only leading 19-14 in the middle of the fourth quarter before two interception returns for touchdowns put the game out of reach. It was a very good game and we're not looking forward to our week 17 matchup with you. I don't want to go into Hartford with the playoffs on the line.

QB Harding continues to shine since starting the season horrifically. Other than the California game a couple games ago, he's been one of the top QBs in the league. I think he's still going to get better too.

Ernest Martinez finally played a complete game for us. He came up with several big catches and finished over 100 yards for the second time since we traded for him. I think this was his best game so far in a Beasts uniform.

Christian Jacobs was simply lights out. Only one pass caught on him. He defended two passes. Can't wait for this secondary of mine to mature. Three rookies on it, and they are all playing very well.

Onto Boston. Hopefully, we can revenge our Week 1 shellacking at their hands.

We play well enough to be in games, but not good enough to actually win them.

OMG! I don't know about this game; is a kicker rated for 28 power suppose to kick a 55 yarder.

GG Hawkster. you truly deserved the victory. My team is blah, I cringe when I watch them...

The Lansing-Dakota game made me wet my pants...up 21 to 0 with 3 minutes left in the half, and then the Ogres came "roaring" back. A strange 50 yard field goal call inside of 3 minutes, instead of going to Javis on 4th down came as a bit of a shock, but still didn't signal the end. Our offense stalled and gave Lansing one more shot...but the defense came through in catching Jarvis on the line of scrimmage on 4th down...

Whew...nice to pull out a win and actually, gulp, be the true frontrunner in the NC North.

But its all good, because Dakota has never really been a factor....ever.... I think I'm adding that to my sig...great bulletin board material.

Also a shout out to Little Rock for keeping Madison down as well...thanks.

He got "the King" after "the King" as in "burger king". I've heard of the Vandals, though I can't say that I'm fancy to punk bands. Both my sister and brother were into that shit, so I do know some of these bands and what not.

                      Shit? I take offense, sir.

And yeah, I know where King comes from, I'm not mentally challenged. I just like Anarchy Burger, which is what the fans will chant at him next time he comes to Little Rock. We shall turn it into a negative.

                        HA ...

You took over the 4th quarter and sealed the game. Picante was selective and had a good game as a result. Your 4th down conversion in the third quarter turned out to be the key play of the game.

The Vipers continue to cough up some sloppy fumbles. Not a good sign.

Congrats on a hard fought game and on the win. It was entertaining despite the loss.

it was a nice win, too bad you spoiled it by posting the above in the other thread and i knew i won the game. our running game sucks, i really have to get Chapman or someone to run a little better, i'm going to start making a more conscious effort to run that shit, yo'. probably very late for him to contend for OROY, but i'm gonna try my damndest.

i can see why Norfolk wins games. you guys pass on short yardage situations. i can't remember how many downs when you guys had 1-3 yards to go and you threw screens and short passes. i'll keep that in mind next time we play, i got you figured out.

nice to see a Hero win a player of the week award.

My pass defense is non-existent without Vernon Copeland.

I think Dwight "Damn" Burger actually had more completions than pass attempts at one point in the game.

Great game, Matt!! I'm getting killed in the division this season so far...

Chalk another one up in the L column. Hard to believe mostly the same team went 7-9 last year.
