i have a decent team. you have a great team. no sense in trying to hype up something i can't do. and Norfolk, despite always having on paper just an average team, just wins. someone proficient in gameplanning will always have the upper hand against someone who just tweaks.

        I don't have a *great* team. I have a pretty good team.

correction: you have a great regular season team.

as always, in a game i know i can't win i just want my guys to score a lot of points, to pad their stats. people love a high scoring game, even if their team loses. i certainly don't want to lose 17-10.

Careful with that. If they end up scoring lots of points they will want to get paid and we can't have that. Then you will have to dump or trade them and try to find superstar players who will play for the league minimum. It's a fine line I know, but I am confident you can handle it!!!

i do a good job of managing contracts. haven't had to salary dump a good player in ever. i want my guys to put up numbers, so they go to Pro Bowls and wind up being named to All-Time teams. that's fun. not everyone can win a championship, but if you can't do that then the next best thing is having one of your players you drafted or traded for being named as one of the best at his position. i don't call the plays myself so championship are largely out of my hands. but knowing the right guys to aquire, that falls on the shoulders of the GM (the only role i'm concerned with).

Been kind of out of it recently due to the flu kicking my ass.

Wtf has happened to the Renegades?

Why are the Cardinals still winning?

Why was Whiting awful for me, yet he can't miss a FG now that I have a kicker who allows opposing teams to start at the 40 every kickoff.
