Good win against against a division rival. Irby continues to amaze but he is banged up and will likely miss next weeks game. Lost my best LB for 6 weeks also. Not good news going up against Texas next week.

The NC North is no joke this year. Every team has a shot at the division.

Phantoms pad stats and keep Stanfield in after Oakland's back-up had entered.

IFL gods respond with injuries to:

WR, Arnold "Shake" Greene (OROY candidate no more)
      RT, Henry Gilmore
RDE, Vernon Copeland (DPOY candidate no more)

Such is only fitting I guess.

You still have two games against us. I'm not worried.

This is true however if the playoffs started today the NC would see 3 teams representing the NC East.

NC East really does look like a hell hole.. I bet a 10-6 team won't see the playoffs from the east..

            I'm 5-2 with a 3-0 conference record.. I bet I'll be that 10-6 team

Good win for us. It wasn't pretty but we'll take it. Up next is WV who got spanked by California...

first of all Cleveland deserved the win as the Mules did not penetrate inside the 20 all day.

Fortunes first touch was to start the second quarter. Peterson was a scrambling machine, most effective part of the Mules ground attack - uuugh! I should stop expecting Dawson to kick like he is IFL elite - he is not so I gotta adjust his FG range or something. Mules kicked a 49 yarder at the end of the half when they had a 1-10 on the Clev 32 with 29 seconds left, hell take a shot or two at the EZ for cryin out loud Ethan. Mules punished for the one takle they missed as it turned into the only Claws TD Uuuugh! Peterson was picked off inside the 20 yet again, but it was a throw inside the 20 as the Mules never got that far all day. Thought Murfreesboro had a chance after the roughing the kicker with 6 mins left, but Dawson missed the game tying FG. Mules got the ball back with 2ish mins left and even got the benefit of a defensive holding on 4th down, but still could not do much against the Cleveland D.

Just a tough day at the office all around.

I after getting nailed by all sorts of penalties to keep drives alive for the mules to killing our big plays and stalling our drives. I didn't think we had a shot to pull this game out. Defense stepped up today to pull off the win. GG

sucks that as soon as the Heroes start to build up some momentum we have to face Portland. even better, we face the Vipers the week after that. no way we win vs. either. which means we find ourselves 4-5. for the next two weeks i have to hope some of the other playoff contending teams also lose so we don't back ourselves too far away from a playoff spot.

Mullin had another monster game. 250 all purpose yards, 3 total tds. 2nd week in a row he returned one for a td. hard to gameplan against that. and i LOVE how the Heroes unnecessarily in all sense of the word went for it on 4th and 2 IN OUR OWN TERRITORY on our 1st drive. fortunately we converted which i guess set the tone for the rest of the game. i really like the balls on Hunter Crawford. i don't mean i like how courageous he is on playcalling - i mean i actually saw him naked and saw his junk. he has a breathtaking scrotum, each testicle is a perfect oval. just the kind of guy i want leading my team.

We can not hang onto the damn football. 3 turnovers that lead to 13 points equals another loss to a team that we should have beaten.

The frustration in Boston continues in 2011....

GG Lansing. I'll tell you what, that was the best last minute and a half of football ever. Neather team could move the ball well till the end. Good luck the rest of the season.
