    Huge game.. huge win..

Lake, absolutely solid against rookie receiver Arnold Green. 3 PDs, 1 INT (39 yards). Our offense struggled on the ground, but Virgil put the ball in the air and obliterated Lawrence (ok, that's an exaggeration, but I win, I'm allowed to exaggerate).

Stanfield struggled today, but I'd like to attribute that to our passrush and incredible secondary. Kenneth Reeg continues to show he was slighted having to wait until we picked him with the final pick of the first round. Another sack today.

Bryant Gattis continues to be a jack of all trades. Another PD, 5 tackles, 1 hurry and a BLOCKED FIELDGOAL.. Yo mamma!

Fumbles are killing us. We can't spot the opposing team 14 pts and expect to win. Defense continues to improve so I like our chances the rest of the way.

Portland loses...gonna come down to the last game of the season for the division crown.

A good hard fought game Hawk.

Didn't realize your Qb had such good scrambling ability.

I'll take the win and rest next week and see if my division mates can continue to put on the pressure.

I had some major changes in player ratings. One of my players dropped like 14 points!

Anybody else get some surprises this week?

wow, Nathan Mullin with a 92 yard punt return. he averaged 50 yards on punt returns. you guys are better off just going for it on 4th down.

not liking the play from Sante. seems like we're winning despite of him. we're 2-2 with him as QB, he's thrown 4 td's to 7 int's. i could've got that from my backup Lathum i would think.

also, if Portland couldn't beat West Virginia, i'm not liking California's chances. we don't put up 30 pts a game usually and my defense has taken a step back this year it seems (although we're in the top 5 for AC teams in pts allowed). this year the Heroes are gonna be another 8-8 team that gives me a 15th or 16th pick in the draft.

Haha, funny you said that because I just noticed my punter dropped about 20 points. I didn't notice which week it happened in, but he was rated high 50's low 60's and now he is maxed at 32. I am going to check the rest of my team.

RB Woodward. Just unmasking that happens when a guy reaches red positional experience. Woodward was overrated. These changes can happen at anytime from week-to-week.

Im really pleased in my defense's play these past couple of games. Forced Sante into 3 picks after forcing Lozier into 4.

That Mullin return was momentum killer. A Steiner fumble (that set you up at the 6 yd line) and the Richardson fumble return for TD did me in. Just like that and what was a tight game at 17-14 turns into a 31-14 "hope we come from behind" ordeal.

i finally figured out which real life NFL team my team most resembles:

                        The Chicago Bears.

*so so QB who can be good one game and horrid the next?
                        check (Sante=Grossman)

                        *one-two punch at RB?
                        check (Benson/Peterson=Chapman/Schulz)

                        *blossoming rookie TE?
                        check (Olsen=McElroy)

                        *amazing deep threat?
check (Berriman=Mullin...although Mullin is clearly better than Berriman is)

                        *lethal return man?
check (Hester=Mullin, although Hester is clearly more dangerous than Mullin. yet, FOF doesn't model Hester types rather well, you won't see many like Hester in the game where one guy gets like 8+ return td's).

                        *young/good kicker, old punter?
                        check (Gould/Maynard=Morris/Sage)

*young stud 5th year CB with 14 interceptions?
                        check (Ricky Manning, Jr=Duane Edwards)

                        *oft-injured but great safety?
                        check (Mike Brown=Alton Filmore)

                        *depleted front four?
                        check (Tank Johnson=Lundquist)

yeesh, we're the Bears. good enough to not be totally bad. bad enough to not be totally good. this sucks.

If you have a QB that you think is not playing to his ability, I have the cure. I can make any QBs completion percentage go up.
I started my last drive throwing 3 long bombs. No where in my game plan does it call for 3 consecutive long bombs. Sanford needs to improve that 2 minute offense rating.

Singleton continues to dominate. 22 carries for 132 yards, 2 catches for 13 yards and one TD.

I wasnt sure what to expect this season. But I dont think it was this. Im hoping to see some real improvement after the bye week.

Big win for the Toads heading into our bye week. Given with 5 touchdown passes which gives me some hope. Playing off the pass a little Brian Dixon even managed his first 100 yard rushing game of the season. The defense played pretty good against Hamilton and the Ogres offense.

DE Andrew Kinney, after reaching full development now, has played excellent the last couple of weeks. He has me a little worried last year. With his bars maxed out and his position experience finally at red though, he has 10 QB hurries in the last two games. The sacks are low, but he makes his presence felt.

Big luck out IMO, as I got so caught up in the gameplan I forgot to take WR Kennedy out of the lineup. He has a decent game and doesn't get injured any worse.

After my bye week is a rough stretch with home games against Dakota and Madison.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Good game Chris, it was a close battle till the end, we had some big stops in the 4th quarter. You did injure a couple of my guys though, makeing next weeks trip to Wichita a tough one. Gotta get thru the next 2 weeks and use that bye week to rest my boys up.
