Fortune had a second big day in a row to keep the ball away from Sammy Mathews and the Snipe Hunters. Mules Scored 13 points late to make this one appear worse than it was.

Iowa City will get back in contention in the AFCN before the season is done.

Jave, seriously, Horace is the future. You may have a crappy team now, but Horace Donovan showed some glimpses of a very bright future. Twice he was rushed into oblivion but still managed to complete his passes. Sure, he was sacked four times, but that wasn't his fault.

I have a pretty good secondary.. maybe not exceptional, but pretty good, yet in the first half Donovan completed much of what he tried to do. If he develops, and you get good players out of all your picks next year, I think Oakland will be a force to be reckoned with soon.

Oh.. I hate Rico Bailey ever since Jeff snatched him from under my nose.

Virgil and Rath had a field-day. I think out of the 7 passes to Rath, 6 came on the first couple of drives. I was like.. Damn Virgil, you've got SOME other alternatives. But hey, who's to complain when he completes. Tossed a few long ones too, not like my Virgil, but I liked it.

Alonzo Lake was invisible in the first half, getting there late a couple of times in time for a tackle, but no passes defensed. Those came in the second half instead. 1 INT and 2 PDs pads his stats a bit more. Great sophomore season so far, and I'll put the first half down to the mild knee injury he was rehabbing.

Two concussions, fortunately not to key-starters.

I thought Lansing was starting to slip coming into this week. Man was i wrong.

Hamilton 3 TD's, 0 INT. Jarvis with ONLY 118 yds (his lowest output of the season) on 12 catches 2 TD's. 189 yds combined rush yds between Deason and Guthrie. 6 sacks by the D (without our best defensive player). 37:09 time of possesion. 11 out of 14 on 3rd down.

CB Rusty Hodges had a monster game with 10 tckls, 1.0 sack, and 4 passes defended..without turning those passes defenses into picks you cant play a much better game then that from a cornerback's perspective.

With my team throwing 6 INT's I am amazed that we didn't lose by 50 to Lawrence!

Dakota continues to play close to the vest and squeaks out a win against competition that probably shouldn't have been that close. Tarcone had me worried going into the 3rd quarter behind by 7. No big game by anyone on my team, just everybody doing the small things...wish they'd do some big things once in a while.

Texas is going to be a reality check on Sunday.

That was me in the Humphrey era. No one ever had big numbers (on offense anyway) but we won games. Just not playoff games.
