dammit. you are a friggin wizard at this stuff. that's unbelievable that a 60ish rated QB could put up numbers like that.

Thanks, but keep in mind that:
      1. WOOF was started with FOF2K7.
      2. FOF2K7's talent distribution is different than FOF2K4's (fewer top-tier players).
      3. IFL has used TCY draft classes, which skew toward significantly more talent in the league.
Point being, while 62/62 may sound like just a slightly above-average QB in the IFL, the *top* rated QB in the WOOF is 75/75. My guy was a first round pick in the dispersal draft (12 rounds, live), and probably would have been a top 10 pick if he wasn't so old, or if it had been computer run. He's going against much lesser defensive talent than you're probably used to seeing. And his two WRs (84/84 and 76/76) and TE (81/81) are the top three receivers (ratings-wise) in the league.

due to only having one OT on my payroll, i'll be forced to have to start an undrafted rookie FA. we're gonna see just how well your creeping success can be duplicated. i know you've got maximum production out of your pet projects, but those were guys no one would ever think of starting. well, out of sheer necessity i'm gonna hope one of these so-called scrubs can outperform their bars and develop rapidly and maybe boom/creep by season's end.

I have a running back theory as well.

Undrafted FA running backs are not worth over a million dollars a year.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Damnit. I got burned a couple of times last season from WRs with nothing but route running so I just spent an off-season thinking that was 2K7 gold and not touching a receiver without it.

I was under the impression - due partly because "read defense" I believe is the ability to hit the 3rd+ options that the QB has - that route running meant he'd either be in his correct spot or not when his card was called. Since each option may be the last that the QB sees before being sacked I figured this was an automatic "want the bar high".

I don't like the idea of high route running "calling" for throws. That should be "mouth" rating. "A player ain't open if the QB don't see him."

Since this was the first non-TCY draft, does that mean that the ratings we see this year are more on par with what we will see in the future, and that the past couple of years are more "phenomenal" ie...Barker and Donavan's 60's are very good and we won't see many more Jay Caro 80's coming out of the draft...?
