2011 Offseason Schedule

With the changes to player development, it is important that we have time between pre-season games to gauge development of players. While I am all for speeding the process, it is much more important to make sure all players get playing time now than in previous versions so we can find those diamonds in the rough.

I hate to bring in stuff from other leagues, but I actually have some UFRAs and late round draftees playing prominent roles on the team due to the growth I saw during the pre-season. This is much more pronounced than what you saw in previous versions of the game.

Any way we could move up the time from 9pm to around 7pm Jeff?

I know 9pm isn't ideal, but as I mentioned I have little room to work with on certain days. And the time needs to be consistent to minimize confusion and to allow 24 hours in between sims.

Yeah, I just got rid of most of them. Doesn't really shorten the offseason in the end, but it does make things easier on me. :mrgreen:

We might want to put in future 2K7 schedules, as I just found out, that you have to sign your rookies on the 1st try if you want to change their weight in TC. Even though we can offer contracts again right now we cannot change the weight of yet-to-be-signed draftees.
