You know. . considering I barly made the playoffs, making it the championship game is kinda unexpected. And being favored by 3? holy crap!

Congrats to Vermont for making it as well.

And good game Kobeck. It was a very close game. 13 points doesn't tell the story that you gave me 2 FGs in the final couple minutes.

Opie had a a real hard day. In 33 atts, he was sacked 5 times, hurried 5 times, and knocked down 8 times. My defense kinda scares me. Sammy scares me sometimes too, but he has a 75% accuracy now. Isn't that friggin awesome?

13 all heading into the 4th, but the 4th belonged to the home team as the visiting Mules were unable to answer the Snipe Hunters early 4th TD. Vera's decision to go for it on 4th and 15 with 3 mins less is suspect, but he's the coach.

Iowa City shut down the Mules O pretty much completly. Running game never got going and passing game was almost as harsh and Special Teams also went Snipe Hunters way as Mules had a punt blocked.

Well it was an exciting run and honestly the Mules overachieved somewhat, but Murfreesboro is one of the younger teams in the IFL so hopefully this will be a beginning and not an end.

Good Luck to Roadrash in the Championship game and congrats to Coder for getting all those X-Mules into the big game.

Wow Vermont pulls it off. IWC takes down Murfreesburo finally. Should be a good Imperial Bowl game...

I think you got me on age. The Snipe Hunters are getting old. I have gotten a jolt of youth on the O, but this may be the last year for most of my guys.

You on the other hand have a team that should be on the top for many years to come.

Congrats to Coder and rasher, well earned births into the Imperial Bowl.

The Mules just couldn't pull off the Cinderella season, but should hold their heads high anyways after their best season ever.

The Phantoms, what can I say? I saw you laughing earlier in this thread about what TB said about the Toads watching from the sidelines, welcome to the club bud. Vermont did similar, to you, that they did to me. Shut down the offense, and had a strong two-headed running game. I too got a little conservative with the passing game compared to what I had been doing, mainly trying to see if I combat the not so hot performances Given had been giving me. Looks like it backfired on both of us.

Good luck to both Vermont and Iowa City, hard to pick one to cheer on in that one.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Holy smackaronies!!!!!!! I woke up early to watch the game and wowowowowowowow.. I told you I'd defense you to death, and I did.. but man was I worried when you started hitting your receivers.. I think Stanfield was like 9/9 at some point and I was like.. yeah right.. but you just kept firing off those short ones and when you finally started going for the long ones, my passrush came into play with Doyle, Oakley and Domingo.

Bit worried about the injuries you handed me though.. Virgil, Gattis, Fann, Sonnier all got minor injuries.. Sonnier's listed as questionable but I don't have the heart to leave him out of the Imperial Bowl!!

Big congrats to roadrash, I'll be studying your game tonight before I head to London tomorrow morning and will be sending in a gameplan that will absolutely crush you..

Now, where's the poll.. I'll be voting on Iowa (for the record, I think I've voted against the winner of every playoff game so far, and that trick seems to be working).

My opinion, you go all out in the big game, no telling when you might get here again.

Oh, I have every intention of going all out.. the reason I'm worried is that I'm concerned how their play will be affected by the injuries.

Actually, you should sit all your starters. . don't want to risk them on the "last" game of the season. . .
