Easy for you to say. You've lost like 5 games in 2 seasons. Lets see ya take a nose dive and stay all positive.

After suffering through almost three straight sacks on the opening drive, I'm extremely pleased with how the game turned out.. My sincerest apologies to Reno for absolutely ripping their team apart in terms of injuries though. I hope none of them are long-term.

Thompson may not be a new Virgil, but he went about his business well today and deserves some recognition for pulling off these wins without superstar receivers or great running backs.

I don't know about all the playoff games, but I think we could do a PBP chat for the Imperial Bowl. Would probably want to do that on a Sunday night methinks.

Wow, congrats to the Pittsburgh Power. Kicked my not-so-rolling-anymore ass.

It is safe to say that I completely blew it by deciding to not really change my defense at all. That backfired.

It is safe to say that I should have been more worried about Pittsburgh's d-line blowing through my pass protection and trying to kill Given instead of worrying about their effect on my rushing game. That backfired.

The coaching staff (gameplanner) takes full blame for this loss. Sammy Harvey's post game interview went something like this....

My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

I don't think you make the playoffs this year. That's really too bad. A shame I tell you.

                              Damn. Halftime at my house.
Bess fumbles at the Newark 11. Newwark goes down the field and scores a TD. What should have been a 35-10 or 31-10 lead turns into a 28-17 lead.

Off to my daughters Soccer game in 90 degree heat and hungover. Not looking forward to this. I should mention it is 5 year olds.

I like the new race for 2nd place in the AC North. Iowa City has dropped 4 of 6 games, while Wichita has won 4 of their last 6 and sit one game behind 2nd place roadrash. Wichita seems to have the easier schedule the rest of the way too.
