Washington/Heroes only makes sense in terms of how i built the team. otherwise i have a better QB than what the Redskins are trotting out, i have the best WR in the league and i have better talent on defense. Perhaps we're the Bengals of the IFL. piece by piece we seem to have a similar makeup.

The bengals drafted good over the course of about a dozen "rebuilding" seasons, that doesn't seem like a good comparison either.

I kinda laughed a bit when I looked at your past draft picks, and I know you have only had the team for a couple seasons, but with 102 total draft picks, Cal has 12 players on the roster that they drafted.

Compare that with Norfolk who has 12 players from the 2003 draft, and a grand total of 35 players rook actually drafted.

I have 14 from the 2003 draft and I have 40 players on my roster that I actually drafted.

Now since rook and I are original GMs, we've made the decisions for the entire history of our respective teams. You on the other hand, came in to a team that was in a psuedo-rebuilding phase. You attacked the market, and built a good team on paper, but sacrificed the cohesion bonuses that come with a slow build. That is exactly what Dan Snyder used to do every season.

Hopefully you be dealt a blow tomorrow you will never forget. Just so you know, I've been second guessing my gameplan all day since I submitted it. Last years playoff game still stings, and I'd like to share the pain with you.

Between you and Suicane, I have a record of 2-10. Suicane has 10 players from the original draft and 33 total. But 12 of them are from this year, so who knows.

Just so you know, I've been second guessing my gameplan all day since I submitted it.

It's gonna be all about our secondary's tomorrow. . . The playoff game ended up a shootout, bet it happens again tomorrow as well. . .

I've ordered some extra security for you tomorrow. . the fans remmeber the playoff loss to. . and most of them are armed. .

point being, the Pats really are basically Brady, Bruschi, Harrison. they have a 2nd tier of role players that were around a bit, but Dillon was only good for about 2 or 3 seasons - Larry Deason fits the role of Dillon: aging, onetime great power running back. when you think about it, the Pats have always plugged in 2nd tier type WRs into their system and Brady made it work. Pats have never had a top WR like the Heroes have in Mullin. CB Bruner is our version of Asante Samuels. Pats went and picked up some big defensive pieces (that LB they signed from the Ravens is one that immediately comes to mind) - Heroes picked up DE Joey Otey to line up opposite DE Gilpin and DT Lundquist to anchor our interior defense. LB Justin Callihan is our Bruschi and LB Weidner is our Junior Seau - old LB who can still make plays.

I think the problem is you're just picking random things to compare the teams with. The Patriots have some key leaders at each side of the ball, and those 2nd tier type of players all mold well because of that which makes the cohesion part come into play. The Pats have a few stars, but they win because of the 2nd tier players which you glossed over. You focused on the big signings which is why I also agree with others your team is probably more comparable to Washington more than NE.
