BIG WIN at Pittsburgh. That tells me alot about this year's team.

Biggs ... to me there was lackluster play from the Vipes. That usually produces game situations that I am comfortable to be in with the Vipers controllling the clock. But today, the Power easily controlled the clock with success running and passing. The three turnovers did not help your cause and the Vipes were simply opportunistic.

I am trying to identify an aspect of the Vipers game from which to build for future game planning. Don't see one ...puzzling ... but I will figure it out.

But, this seems to be a very different Viper team than in the past and I am trying to put my "finger" on it. It might be that there is alot of difference in the 2007 gameplanning vs. the 2004 gameplanning choices. In any case, I've got alot to learn and understand about 2007. Hopefully, each week will bring a little more light in the window. Just hoping one week that the blinds don't get pulled down.

Good luck to you in the rest of the season.

Mules were dominated in the first half by the Phantoms. Second half was a different story as the Mules fought back and with enough time on the clock to make the end interesting the Mules were stopped on 4th down at the Phantom 14 - end of game.

First half consisted of Mules being in run D when Lawrence was passing or Mules being in pass D when Lawrence was running. On Defense the Phantoms always was in the correct run or pass D. This evened out some in second half, but it was too late as the damage was done.

Weird.. Hernandez' 9 hurries does not earn him a spot on individual statistics list... at all.. he's just not visible there.. looks like a bug.

He had 4 hurries, and no solo tackles. Not a bug.

I should have been more specific.. in the game, in the almanac, in the "Individual Statistics".. no Hernandez.. He has 9 hurries for the season.

            Question remains.. bug?

Edit: Hmm.. your reply does shed light on the situation though.. since he's only got 1 tackle for the season, maybe he doesn't qualify for the defense-list.

oh, that list. well at the bottom it includes a few guys who dont have any tackles but have other stats. so maybe a bug

Boston just plain outplayed us in every category. Just when I thought we were getting back in the game, they deflated our sails with 2 TD drives. It's going to take awhile for our secondary to grow up, the loss of Schaffer is very evident.

Patterson is out again with an injury. He is very undependable as a starter. Lara? Best? Who knows who will start next week.

Clarence Bly is now leading the league in receiving yards. .. that is a first for IWC to lead anything in receiving.

Of course my rushing O went into the tank without Price. My D has been playing very well so far, and my O has been getting the job done, very inconsistently though.
Texas is a complete joke, that is why I took really no joy in the Toads "big win" last week. They are sitting Chung, a 4000 yard QB. CB Roman Bond, a 5th year player rated in the 70s is sitting, so don't give me crap about wanting to play the younger guys. Is Bond getting too old, but the 4 year vet who blows but you start is not too old yet?

These clear starters not playing is a joke. I don't remember if you save as much in 2007 as you did in 2004, but I am pretty sure he will be able to save money on all these vets with reworked contracts next year because they won't have played. And lets face it, Texas is pretty much a lock for the #1 draft pick right now with that roster.

                  Texas is a hack team.

As for the Toads, squeaked out a win. Nothing real impressive that's for sure. Humphrey did ok, enough to earn a second start against the tough Lawrence Phantoms. Mainly because Peabody is still questionable though. I would love to have him healthy for that game.

Injuries are ok. Lost a lineman, 2nd string guy.

Good game db, I figured your team would play it close and they did.

Total domination in a win over Salt Lake City. Donald Hanks completed his first 15 passes, Casey Gaines gets 206 yards on 25 carries (longest was 29, 9+ runs over 10 yards) My center Luke Ford was 7-9 on KRBs. All in all a solid effort on offense. Defense could have held a bit better, we'll have to work on that.

How about I post a poll and let you guys set my lineups?

How about I take gameplanning directions from Cringer? Can you do my contract extensions too?
