Wow, after his first 5 pass attempts, Jim Hickman had a 30+ YPA! We basically shut it down mid-way through the third and just pound the ball at that point. Still, we need to figure out what we're doing on the frontline. That was a dreadful running attack.

That's a pity, Hickman doesn't qualify as a passing leader for only throwing 12 passes...

Wow...good game Lansing. I thought we had you at the end until that long bomb for a TD with a minute left. We Knocked Jarvis out for 6 weeks, and we lost Shannon...he seems to be a bit injury prone. Patterson had a good game. 2 INT's only because of some last minute heroic tries. Dakota rushes for 152 yards by committee...Patterson is a scrambling fool...

GG Tarcone. Turnovers killed us. We start the Georgia era with a loss. Hopefully we rebound. Markel and Buckner did well if you take away the turnovers.

Heroes lost. we played bad. don't like that Gomez was targeted 10 times (and only caught 4) and Mullin was targeted just once. still, i wasn't expecting to win this one. Gomez still has some rust and the Lynx always seem to beat us. only consolation was that Portland lost so we're both 0-1.

I think the Monday Night Kickoff Special is a success.

It would be nice to do something similar every season.

Texas did get an export in and had their starters playing i hope. I won't be too happy with the win if they were in preseason modé still.

Phantoms eek out a victory to extend the home winning streak to 19. Scary game with a sweet ending.

Tough loss, Matt. Good game though.

I played young players over veterans. I started my rookie QB instead of the vet. This will be the plan for the rest of the season, as I need to figure out who could possibly be a breakout.

Sorry db, guess this isn't your decade. . .but next year is a new one!

How about that Clarence Bly 7 catches for 128 yards. . .

Hovis started with 2 INTs again. . I once again wonder if Sammy is capable of consistency. .

I am very upset at RB Battles getting fewer carries than his backup.

So as to not play the role of the sad sap loser I must say something:

Meh. I'm sure that cocksucker RGIII will provide more insight in a day or two.

Boston --- pretty much an even game and your final drive with 36 seconds left had me shitting in my pants. I'll take it and run home.

Boston: I formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 with nickel personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the pass. Fiscus is blitzing.
1-10-BOS24 (4Q: 00:36) J.B. Fogarty pass completed to TE Weldon Brownell for 3 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by S Preston Welch, assisted by OLB Jacinto Aldana. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
Boston: Weak formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 with goal-line personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the pass.
2-7-BOS27 (4Q: 00:31) J.B. Fogarty pass completed to WR Josh Sullivan for 42 yards. Tackled by DE Carl Moody. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
                                Boston called a time out.
Boston: Weak formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with dime personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the pass. Clark is blitzing.
1-10-NFK31 (4Q: 00:20) The Magician Fogarty pass completed to WR Brian Christie for 28 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by CB Russel Whyte. The quarterback threw into double coverage.
Boston: Single-Back formation, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 with nickel personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, keying aggressively on the pass. Aldana and Welch are blitzing.
1-3-NFK03 (4Q: 00:03) J.B. Fogarty pass fell incomplete, intended for WR Josh Sullivan. DT Karl Austin defended the pass.
Final Score: Norfolk Vipers 15, Boston Dragons 10
