Damn. I was unaware of that embarrassing fact.Originally posted by MattIt's nice to see my old pal [ifl]Scott Nelson[/ifl] win a playoff game.
Interestingly, Nelson is 5-0 in his career vs. Lawrence.

Just got to watch the game. I was totally losing it when I was down 14-0 in the first quarter. Then I had to survive the torrid 4th quarter where 28 points were put up on the board - 14 by each of us. Wow, time to take a breath.Originally posted by roadrashBeamer had 215 yards rushing. . mathews was interception free with 2 TDs, Trigg had two INTs, one for a TD. . And I sitll lost by 7. . .good game rook
Who would have thunk Iowa CIty would be in a shoot out in the playoffs? I must have at least scared you for minute after two TDs in the last couple minutes. .
It is nice to know that my 2k4 Offensive gameplan skills have peaked just in tie to convert to 2k7. . Wish I could have gotten one playoff win, but now I have to pray that my team doesn't retire.
Beamer set a playoff record, unfortunately I am on the bad side of that record. I just could not stop the run. I didn't do too well against the pass either. Thank God Finger was as hot as a firecracker for his first game back and it is great to have him back ... he totally changes the complexion of the Viper team.
It was great to play you ... and I hope 2k7 treats your roster gingerly. I don't think too many people realize how your team leads or almost leads the charts in all categories in team cohesion.

I just can't help believing Wolters would have made those kicks - 8)Originally posted by SuicaneGood game Steve. I thought i had weathered the storm early with the penalties, pick and injuries but then old McMurray tossed a couple of passes your way. Fuckin Savage missed 2 clutch FG's. So angry, so ashamed.
Good luck the rest of the way Steve.

FWIF Savage did nail a 50+ against the Mules as time expired. Just glad it was at the end of the half.sigpic

I've always believed that this team is a top tier team, but that my gameplanning technique brings it down to 2nd tier. I think I will begin to invest more time in 2k7 to better understand gameplanning. If I can match the time spent in the offseason in gameplanning, I think I can compete at the top tier with Suicane, Rook, and Jeff.Originally posted by r00kJust got to watch the game. I always lose by a little, never a lot, expecially in the playoffs. I do wish that I had some competition in the division to force me to worry about gameplanning throughout the year. . instead of concentrating hard on it during the playoffs. So Suicane, Rook, and Jeff get the top nods for gameplanning---do their teams have the most wins in the IFL over the past 9 seasons?Originally posted by roadrashI've always believed that this team is a top tier team, but that my gameplanning technique brings it down to 2nd tier.
