What's with all of the offensive players listed as MVP candidates? Why not any love for the defense? I'll give you one to ponder: Pittsburgh MLB [ifl]Isaiah Graybill[/ifl]. Why Graybill? First of all, he had the best overall season of any linebacker. Check it out:
117 tackles (5th overall, 3rd among MLB's)
1 sack, 1 block, 6 hurries (1st among MLB's)
17 defensed passes (12th overall, 1st among all LB's, maybe the second best total ever for a LB)
2 interceptions, 2 FF, 1 TD
And secondly, his boom in the offseason is the only difference on a Pittsburgh team that last year had 320 pts scored on them, and this season led the league with only 250 pts scored on them, the best total in two seasons. Pittsburgh tied for the 3rd best record ever in the IFL because of the defense, and the defense was led by Isaiah Graybill. What more do you need to be an MPV???
